  4. I don't car what I have spent tbh, building something up from different parts it quiet fun. Plus it's gonna look amazing. Here are some of the final bits. prop shaft and joints set (ordered this before the conv kit below) Bearings Green wheels to go with Block shell Orange carbon look vinyl wrap Yeah racing alloy conv kit Finally, the part I have been waiting for Eagle racing TT01 Drift v2 GRT chassis...now I just need some plastic gears and a pinion and I am good to go.

  6. hi all, thought I would start a new thread for those interested in real cars. Changed my boring ford head unit for a much better one. Finally got a new head unit, after many problems with the used one I bought, and fitted it last night. Did not take me long to do and I think it looks great. Here is a few pic's of the process. Start Take off the centre console trim Take out 6 torx screws and the facia pop's off The ford unit had a further 4 torx screws to remove All removed New double din cage fitted. Head unit slotted in no problem, used new wire harness and works nicely. Loverly feel to the touch screen and has ipod connection. Enjoyed doing this.....now got to find something else to do.

  14. After being out of RC's for a little while I decided to go back to small scale, after years in large scale, and am building a drifter from scratch. Keep an eye out on this thread for updates and build photo's. Today I got the first parts, most other stuff is winging it's way from the US or JAP. I enjoy watching Gymkhana and rally-X so I thought I would start with a ken block shell. Next up is the brushless system, not an expensive one but this will be fine for now.   17. Sounds like we can get a proper little club going. First we can start at car parks etc then move on to something else.
  18. I am thinking of starting a drifting club in the North West as I not come across one yet. It's going to primarily be based around Manchester but will be looking for other places to go and meet with fellow drifters. If you are interested then post on here and keep an eye out for details.
