Hpi 86040 I've recently got the above Dif for my sprint. I fit it straight out of the packet (after checking there was no centre slip) and took it for a run last sat. Handled far better. When I got home I thought I'd tighten it up and see what happened. Took it for a run tonight, handled well for 10 mins then went crap. Adjusted the diff up again, this time nice and tight, after 10 seconds driving well, it went crap again, it's like the screw keeps coming loose. Any ideas, anything to check for when I open it up? Thanks

im using a orion rocket pack 2 5100nimh 7.2v and i can tell you its the business, i now struggle to control the power

Charging a 5100 ni-mh Set delta peak option to 8mv Set cut off to 5100 mah When it's finished the temp was 34*c My room temp was around 27*c (used a ir temp gun) If the batteries don't last long when I use them tonight, I could have false peaked..... I will increase the delta peak to 9mv on there next charge and check the temps when it beeps Am I right in saying 50*c after peaking is about the maximum temp I should be aiming for ? Thanks again

update, stopped after the number in the bottom right hit 631, was on charge maybe 15 mins :,-( flashing battery full in bottom right

Yeah, I've also got a cheap china battery, claims to be 6800mah but I very much doubt it, it's on charge at 5.0a as we speak. I've set the cut off to 4500 mah. Also this battery would bearly turn the wheels yesterday, so it's completely flat. Are we all agreed it should keep on charging till the number in the bottom right hits 4500, Or am I missing something

yeah, but i slow charged the battery overnight on a friends charger. took it out for a run, lasted ages.....maybe 30 mins, went flat plugged it in to charge, and its fully charged in 25mins at 1.5 amp?

Hi, i know this has probably been asked before but after 10mins of looking ive given up..... Just bought imax b6 off ebay, and a seperate charger unit (looks just like a laptop power supply) Plugged it in, adjusted the capacity cut off to 5100mah, as my battery is an orion rocket pack 2 5100mah Ni-MH then first thought id slow charge it......set it to 1.5a, roughly 25mins later it said battery full, (bottom right hand corner read around 600..........thought, thats strange.... 1 hour later, same again, but at 5.0a, after roughly an hour it stopped again, battery full, but the bottom corner read something like 4281 should the bottom right not stop at 5100?, whats telling the charger that the batts full? i dont have a temp lead thanks in advance

Hi people, looking at purchasing an "EZ Run 5.5T/3650 Car Motor", details.... model: 5.5T/3650 kv: 6000 dia: 35.8mm length: 50mm+15mm shaft dia: 3.17mm The motor uses 540 size core and with 540 class motor's external size. How do i work out what speed controller to buy? I ask this because when i was younger 1 of mine caught fire and destroyed my car. If the amps are too high on the esc, will it destroy the motor? and if the amps are too low, will the batterys destroy the esc? thanks people im confused :-( also,is that motor any good, bearing in mind im on a budget

Hi people, im from Dewsbury, W.Yorks My car should be arriving tomorrow after waiting over 2 week, bought it off ebay..... The item was listed as a sprint 2, but after looking through the pics of the auction i can sadly say ive been sold a sprint 1 :-( boooooooo Is this going to be a problem or are most parts, i.e suspension + steering bits interchangeable.... thanks :-)

Hi peeps I'm quite new to this, just got myself a second hand hpi sprint 2. Is there a post about brushless motors already on here, I'm after some advice on my upgrade options. Thanks
