  1. Try and loosen the 4 screws holding the pull start? Don't remove them, just loosen them a bit. That's worked for me in the past.
  2. Hi all Can anyone recommend some settings for my hyper. It's under steering like a pig. It can't turn at speed. Just plies on. My mates trophy manages donuts, all mine does is carries on. Steering servo is a savox 1256 so plenty of power there?

  5. Normally when running in the engine in loaded with fuel and oil. The unburnt stuff will build up in the exhaust. Think you'll befo be running to lean. Let us know how ya get on.
  6. When you was doing the heat cycles, was the engine loading the exhaust with oil and unburnt fuel? Could you pore it out of the pipe?
  7. Reset it to factory settings mate and start again. See how you get on. I'd stuck to the os plugs if I was you. Never use the fasttrax plugs, just know and love the os ones. Here is the factory settings for ya.
  8. Sound like ya engine in running too lean mate. Richer it up a bit. If its too hot it will kill ya plugs. When I broke my engine in I was doing 2 plugs a tank almost. Turns out it was too lean. As for stalling when braking. You'll need to adjust the idle screw I think. Also ya break linkage. Welcome to the world of nitro buddy

  10. If you fancy a bit of racing I'd still keep with the rtr. Reason being wham you first start racing, you gonna want a stronger car. Lack of experience racing will prove this. Once you got ya self established in racing, then look at a race roller. Then you'll appreciate all the adjustments on the car. IMO anyway.

  13. You servos will be savox ones mate. If I'm not mistaken they are digital servos and do make a strange humming noise. My 1256 servo makes a hell of a racket. I would have done another couple of heat cycles first IMO. Just to free the engine slightly. But should be ok. Just don't go too fast too quick. Take ya time with break in. It will pay dividends in the long run.
  14. Where about's from the tank is it leaking? Think you're be better off getting a new tank, then of that don't solve ya issue, at least you can rule that out. Any fuel leak will cause you tuning head aches.
  15. Hi all. Does anyone know if a hyper 8 shell will fit a hyper 7? I'm gonna be doing a Valentino Rossi shell based on his 2012 Ducati. :-) Fancy the look of the 8 shell at the rear. If it does, where can I get a clear one from? Ms don't seem to have them.

  17. Not much difference in weight in all honesty. Well, nothing ya average basher/racer would notice. Alloy ones are stronger and last much longer.
