Thanks for the video link it wasnt that but very usefull I had props off and had throttle at half and pitched forward and you could hear it when stick was central after pitching forward the front motors were alot faster causing it to shoot back found out in the pi settings for roll and pitch I had to increse the I gain and I limit from 0 20 To 7 24 and that now makes it sound right after piching forward but still yet to test it and I made my cog centre aswell will let you know how it handles tomorrow night

Thanks for the advice hopefully the parts I need will be here tomorrow and ill try balancing it up then I jave read into the problem and have read up about the gains are too low for the auto level could this also be the case

I will try that does make sense aswell but cant do anyrhing till tuesday waitin on new motor and frame arm crashed into a tree as I was testing my new board out with flying forward and shot back full speed into a tree

Does anyone know if the flysky t6 6channel transmitter os any good for a quad or could this be the problem with my elevator issue

Still does the problem and it flew into a tree and snaped an arm and pulled 2wires from the motor do you rekon it could be the cheap tx and rx

My new kk2.1.5 board came today and its all set up now so going to take it for a flight to see if its better will let yoy know in 30mims

I have orderd another dont know anyone near me with a quad so the kk2 board should be here tomorrow and it will be flying around again then so I will post the update tomorow but I will still get a video of what its currently doing

Do you rekon the kk2.1.5 board is dodgy as my quad laybin a cuboard in the garage my mum was making up plant pots watered them ontop of thw bench and water seeped through and covered the kk board for about 1-2days before I realised

I have just done mine gpt the red/white version off ebay 4xproflight 30a esc and 1000kv motors 4x10 45 props 6x servo extension leads 6ch flysky fs-t6 tx/rx 3s 3700 mah zippy compact Kk2.1.5 fc and flew mime for first time today good fun just need to set up properly

Just tested it has good street lightling amd no cars near pushed and held forward for 10 meter and soo as i put the stick to centre it went backwards but if you flick the stick forward the quad does keep traveling forward

Ok I will check tomorrow hopefully and thanks for the info got the batt alarm working now it does sound lime what your saying but when you let off the stick instead of it carring on forward it goes back as quick as it was going forward

I can try tomorrow night but I have just found out aileron movement aswell if you gently use them for more than 20sec at once and then centre the stick it just goes in theoppesite direction but as soo as you toutch down and let the throttle off and then put it back in the air it is fine again until you use the ele or ail stick

I am using a cheap flysky tx with a digital screen 2.4 ghz system and with the low settings on pitch it does move foward when I push up slightly and keep having to push up more and more to keep it moving the same speed and when centred after say 30seconds of moving forward it flies backwards like I have pushed the stick fully down when I havent

Hi all flew my quad for the first time been building it for the last 2 months and it was very stable but here are a few questions 1. When I move forward for a wile I found I was applying more forward move ment and wasnt going any faster and after 50 meters my stick was fully forward but it was just hovering and when I put the aileron stick back to the middle it shot backwards. 2. What model setup should you use on the transmitter as mine is set up to plane should it be heli instead. 3. How do you wire up the on board low batt alarm on the kk2.1.5 board. any help would be much appreciated

The 20c will fail I need to power a total of 120a so what I have worked out is a x c = total power ie if I tried to use my 2.2a 20c would be 2.2x20=44amps total so I would just ruin that battery

Well bit the bullet baught one from hk a zippy 3700 35c see what they are like 22 quid deliverd not bad

Thanks had a loom and basicaly I have 120a intotal for esc and a guy on that thread says a rough colculation is if you had a 3.5a battery and 25c its 3.5x25=87.5 a so I am going to need roughly a 4.5a and 30c rating which would give 135a total continuous is that correct. And has anyone heard or used flourion batters are they any good

What size battery can you use on a quad I am nearly finished building my quad it has 4 30a esc and 4 1000kv motors I have seen some 3s lipo 20-30c 2200 is this any good

Ok thanks been looking and found 2x3s turnagy and zippy 2200 lipos with 20c-30c are these any good for a quad copter

I am after a 3s lipo battery anyone got any for sale
