No idea to be honest. Have a look for a topic along the lines of (noj's 5ive rally project) as its his old car. Tyres I have had no issues and they are just the stock losi rally ones, again no idea on the diffs. GRP have just started making 5ive scale tyres and foams. I run their 8th scale off road wheels (pre mounted) on 8s and have never blown one. And that was in cars powering across grass at 70ish, So there 5th scale ones should hopefully be a match

I have a brushless 5ive. Using one of the Turnigy Trackstar 8s ESC. Seriously, dont knock them! and it did have a 800kv SKYRC. it was the motor that let go first! That was set up with 17/56 and topped out around 42ish on the grass and had plenty power to drift about silly on 8s. As yourself I am looking to put a MGM in it. I have a couple of there 250a 8s ESC's at the minute and for bashing they have been spot on, just not man eonough for the 5ive. I did have a shot of a 5ive with the 15s 250a ESC in it and it did fly, think it topped out at 90mph on 15s, but the ESC was struggling a bit, so would go with the 400a as there is plenty of space on the platform. If you are only wanting to go up to 12s the Castle motor could be a good shout as they are a bit cheaper than a lehner! But the lehners are great motors.
