  1. ahaha got the day off tomorrow so was gonna go round waterhead park while theres no muppets about haha, reset it to factory now so going to see if it works ive also put the idle screw in fully and will move it out until it starts

      the baja it starts, revs up when i try to turn the idle down it cuts?

  4. my fg baja needles are messed up, she will start and rev then cut, if i apply throttle she cuts, the idle screw also i have no idea what its doing and the stock setting for it? after full throttle she stays high revving? please help
  5. pre op on Wednesday and not in work! if weather stays dry I will be able to tune my Baja and get to driving it proper

      cheers mate, just worried about how hot the head got but again most people on here say its going to get hot

      Yeah U can leave em ticking over for a whole tank..45+mins with no issues... not that U would ever do this...

      ahah left it idleing for 25 min let it cool then took it out on the field no more than half throttle, cut out after 20 min boiling hot, looking in the filter one of the 2 screws going into the carb was very loose and the filter had a clear gap between it and the carb, im guessing the air leak lead to this, also been told this on here by a few

  7. should be mate ahaha, air getting in the carb from loose screw on air filter hahahaha run smoother on factory now, the temps are high but ive been told this is normal, guarantee there's gonna be more problems along the way, just my luck ahaha , half the large scale page is Fg baja help because of me ahahahaha

  11. want a beetle shell for my baja but there well expensive :( need the beaks moved to front first, but cant find a front cable clamp!!!

      Chop 105mm off the chassis and fit a fg beetle shell

      Usually it's like a spring loaded mechanism that if your wheels take a hard impacts, it doesn't jolt the steering linkage and servo horn, the spring takes the impact and flexes.

      ....it ultimately saves your servos...with out the little bit of give that the saver offers it would strip the gears on your servos like there is no tomorrow.

  14. cheers mate, by hot i mean hot to touch, something ive not seen before, ive only had the car 2 or 3 weeks but ran 3 times due to bad weather . the reason i was concerned is that it cut out on me, it was very hot and i saw some kind of smoke, not the smoke from exaust, but like boiling a kettle kind of steam? i since found one of the 2 bolts on airfilter was loose with a clear gap, meaning an air leak, since that it runs smoother on factory settings, but becomes hot even at idle very quick. Before the air leak when i applied throttle more than half, and the idle seemed to rise when i went back to no throttle? the plug was brownish with oil and ALOT of smoke when ran

  19. its about a week old? and air filters fine just even running for 2 min the engine gets hot

  22. it must be rich also becouse it smoked like anything and the performance was crap
  23. just took the car out on factory settings, needs breaking in. after 10- 15 min i brought the car back and as i did it cut out. looking at the car i realised it must be over heating? the flywheel cover felt warm and the head was hot with a breaf 10 seconds maybe more of steam?or faint white smoke, not the type from exaust. i didn't risk it and brang her home, she wasn't ran more than half throttle maybe a tad more when getting stuck in the grass. took the spark out and it had thin oil like liquid on it? ive not touched it since and was going to let it cool before seeing if it would start? any help ?
  24. baja engine getting hot on factory needle settings? prior to this it wasnt hardly hot? had to bring the revs down also
