Used to RC Race and Bash a fair bit in the past, but moved on....now thanks to the nice Second hand section on Modelsports main site am easing myself back in.......... .....and in typical fashion lost a bodypin in the first few minutes lol

Hi All So going to be coming back to the world of RC in 2013 and just thought Id ask if anyone has experience with the above? Seems like a good deal on MS for it, (comes with absolutely everything that a returner could need and it's brushless). Never used the FTX range before, so any feedback would be ace. Main use initially will be a garden and park runaround...but may look to return to EPR for some sessions too. (In the not so distant past have used pretty much all brands and types of RC cars (B4, B44, Slash, Baja, Losi XXX, Ansmans etc etc) Cheers all Matt

Wow, reduced the price on ebay to a tenner plus postage and my watchers have increased by 100%, so that makes two watching now after three weeks Anyway, longwinded way of saying it's bump time.

Cool, that's a good list of markers you've had there Originally was recommended to get the Etek LT, but originally didn't like the look of them, wanted the whole gun (or as I now know milsim) look. May look for a cheaper style tourney type marker in the future - quite a few pop up on PB forums, but realistically the delta elite should keep me going for a good while - the expense of paintball will limit how much I actually go, so poss aiming for once every couple of months. TBH my main reason for changing hobbies was part of a more global healthy living plan - which is is working, losing weight and have been off the fags now for pushing 3 weeks So, will be more about maintaining my fitness levels in the gaps between. Sad to hear about the attitude in tourney land Fortunately I'm planning on sticking to local walk-ons and local scenario events, got Submission Maidstone down the road from me and appears to be quite alot of scenario events down Surrey way which ain't too far from me

Absolutely mate The big game am doing next weekend should be epic, aye me old cars didn't go far Did like the look of the TM15, in the end went for the 2nd hand one that turned up 1st - liking the look of the phenoms too now, although imagine that my next marker will be more of a tourney one tho....just need to get my head round the price tag!! Knowing me, won't be long till I try to find out even more about airsoft.......could do both and have an awesome collection [ Aye, same with what rc was tho, meeting and chatting too peeps....only diff with paintball or airsoft, you get to shoot them too

Lol, for a nano second I thought about sending you a PM, to ask if you still had it lying around, but thought the chances were less than slim D'ya fancy sending it on, you know you want to (picture quality turned out to be v good, this being the first time I used it since getting it off you)

Did look at the aimpoint ones, but the BSA was only £26 new so couldn't say no Kind of mixed views as red dots I've seen tho, in theory I would agree that they just add to the whole milsim look, but some folks seem to say, that by combining the right barrel, paint and red-dot, then they can combine to make a difference? Either way, me likes the look of them - picking up a sight riser at Timewars, so in theory can see if it helps? (Think their doing a .50cal demo on the saturday, alas can only make the gameday so will miss all the extra titbits )

Thats a sweet looking marker you have too (is that a 50cal) Mine is a delta elite (couldn't resist the ol milsim looks) pretty stock at the mo, although just had the x7 low profile hopper come this morning and a BSA reddot came last week Big-game wise.....am going to be at the next Super 6- Timewars week after next - Judoon Mercs for me Well looking forward to it ps, pretty sure I read on one of the pb forums that Smart Parts is back? will have a look for a linky.......

Yeah, hadn't really heard of airsoft until I started buying paintball gear and kept seeing it - don't really know too much about airsoft at the mo, although did do a bit of googling on it last night just to see what it was. Bruisings not too bad at the mo, most the important parts are padded out - not looking forward to the big game next week - saw some tournament style markers when I filmed the above and their rate of fire was very very quick - certainly glad have got the padding

Hi Guys Well, having sold all my rc gear on here to fund the switch to Paintball, thought I'd post a vid that I took last week. Was my first outing out with all my new kit and first time using this camera - was actually one that I'd bought for rc (from here) but never got round to using. Have since worked out why there's no sound (to do with the covers on the back of the camera) so the next vid I shoot will have sound Going to a "big game" next weekend, so if anyones interested will post up a vid of that event on here too So a huge thank you to all that bought my gear to enable the switch.
