  2. look mate, almost new ones complete with batterys, charger and everything else are going for 400-450 on the bay, think youre gonna have to be a bit more reasonable/flexible here, especially with no motor & esc which is gonna cost another couple of hundred quid on top. Just my pennysworth.

  4. Hi, this might be a daft question, but can you extend the 7 leads that go from the charger to the balance board or can you buy longer leads complete with the plugs, mine seem to be very short, and the lipo charge sack is almost on the charger.
  5. For 2s that's quite impressive, like to see 3s, would probably give you the speed you need on the straight.
  6. Yep, get rid of the K&N filter, load of crap, fit a standard Hpi filter, one of the best on the market, bulky maybe, but b****y good, use with a TGN and an outerwears pre filter, can't be beaten.

  10. The best way to pick up water is thru the rudder, you get the full force of the water, but it depends what you are running, pics would help.
  11. That starter box to me, looks like the Thunder Tiger box, good solid box and should have no trouble fitting that to your car. The best way to adjust it is to take the top off the box and adjust the pegs whilst holding the top on the bottom of the car, the raised part that u can push down on is where the rear of the car sits, when you have the pegs aligned so the middle of the slot on the lid is the same as the middle of the slot in the chassis, you're good to go.
  12. Castrol A747 fully synthetic @ 25.1 mix, thats 200ml to every 5 litres, useing less oil will just wear your engine out quicker, and i doubt you will notice any difference. As for the receiver pack, any pack from a reputable source will do, just go for the highest capacity you can afford, or even the Killer life battery.

Hiya, i recently did this to, what i did was to get the black plastic nipple off with a pair of pliers, that leaves a serrated brass push in fitting, using a pair of water pump pliers, grab this and twist & pull at the same time, it is an interference push fit and bloody hard to get out, but it will come out, don't be tempted to thread a small bolt thru the centre, will only knacker you carb up. When fitting the new nipple assembly, use a hammer with a small block of wood on the nipple to avoid damaging it, and tap it home. Hi All, I have broken inlet pipe to the carb, the black plastic piece. I have a spare, but how do you get the old one out with doing any further damage ? Thanks for any help
