hi there it was 25% apparantly but i also got an issue with the throttle servo flicking if i get to close with the rx so ive order'd another servo the steering kinda judders when im close but thats not noticible when its on the floor steering servo is a futuba s3003 and the thottle is a acoms as-11 dont know if either are any gd tbh transmitter is a kyosho perflex so wondering with all the mismatches weather thats not helping?

im in liskeard but i will travel to get it sorted just had a look at carb and yep it throttles fully open then when released it returns to 1 mill gap and no movement to carb when break is applied so that knocks that on the head , just wondering now if its the hpi fuel? when i recieved hyper there was a dribble of fuel in it but it was like a blue/green colour where as hpi is red.... would that make a diff? also how long does a tank last because i filled it ran it across local playing field and fuel tank was 2/3rds empty after 10mins is that about right? it was high reving tho

yep heads tight exhust seems ok and joiner pipe is all good i think i'll have to find some one to look at it for me does any one live in the sw that wants to help a newbie?

yeah done that and its about 1-1.5 mil really dont get it cause when its first started tick over is fine but will stall everytime u throttle it for about 5 tries then it seems to cear itself but then the tickover is shot? it kinda idles for a second or too then the revs drop and it stalls, wont even fire on start up unless i throttle it but this engages clutch i need two people to run it one doing throttle trim to start then cutting back enough to stop it driving off then having to feather it to keep it running would a new air filter help? or is it lsn needle im new to nitro so have never attempted to tune one and hyper was 2nd hand so never had base settings and im worried being a novice i'll kill the engine by tinkering with it? or loose starting cause its really good at mo 2-4 pulls from cold and its away

hi does any one know why my hyper wont maintain constant idle speed? when 1st start idle is fine but cant throttle because instant stall, after a couple of minutes u can gently throttle up top end speed gd mid range gd but as soon as idle posisition or brake is used it cuts out? then it wont restart until i increase the trim fires straight up but hugely over reving wind trim back and it stalls or to keep it going it must be creeping or u have to keep feathering the controller its running on hpi 20% fuel any ideas pls

i have a futuba rx but its AM will have to get a couple of crystals but will the hyper reciever run with AM crystal?

hi all i have a prob with my hyper 7 sport im a complete novice but here goes, apart from tuning issues i have i.e car stalling after 5-10 sec idling whilst having over fuelling on exelleration and cutting out i cant attempt any tunning because heres the prob when the car is running the throttle servo keeps flicking and moving so i cant keep it running unless i alter the trim and keep it reving to the point of car moving off ive tried it with engine off and the servo is still but when car is running servo keeps moving its almost like the running engine is causing interference any ideas? its a 27mhz fm transmitter made by kyosho i dont think its batterys as the steering servo isnt moving or flicking help pls

thanks for your replies my hyper arrived today and the radio reciever was still there but no crystal so i took the crystal out of the warhead and put it in the hyper and it all works , having now laid my hands on the hyper im soooo impressed with the build compared to the warhead everything looks so much heavier grade almost bomb proof ive yet to try and start the hyper but everything is clean as a whistle and the air filter is well oiled so it shows signs of being looked after, i will keep you posted if i have any probs but thanks again for your help much apprieciated

HI everybody im new this is my 1st post of many i think , im an absolute novice but i want to get into rc racing and bashing, to cut a long story short i bought a atomic warhead 2nd hand (like a said newbie) had it now for 2 wks 1st time could not start it at all its fitted with a roto-start and the bearing was slipping so stripped it out cleaned and replaced at least it was turning the engine but still wouldnt start , i contacted the seller and he advised me to put a few drops of nitro straight into head and it will fire, then which it did, then drop some into the carb and she will run!!, BIG mistake it started and shot off full throttle and right into a rock!!! the rock won damaging the car to such an extent that the clutch bell split seperating the cogs, a wk later new parts fitted and complete with housebrick for a platform ready to start it again..... roto-start bearing began slipping yet again , stripped out again excessive fuel/oil over engine shaft? cleaned and replaced. following day at last i got it running omg very very fast but needed alot of tweaking as it was running to lean and engine started to cut out, had the manual over adjusted it slightly so that it was choking a little on throttle but at least the engine would be ok, after 30 mins of running cornered a bit hard flipping over the said car and damaging the steering servo!!!!, towel now thrown in lesson learnt, im now waiting on a delivery of a hyper 7 21 sport researched and been told best option for me? only prob is no transmitter with hyper but there is reciever no crystal tho...... so 1.. can i use transmitter from warhead kyosho perflex 27mhz 2.. if so is it just the case of taking out crystal from reciever in warhead or the whole reciever transfer 3.. whats the diff between am and fm (lms said certain freqencies are illegal to use here is it am or fm 4.. and lastly should i just take up another hobby instead? many thanx for your help
