  1. Lots of great advice here guys. Thanks in advance!! I have a Spektrum AVC receiver in my Vorza so I might give that a try in my WR8 as it has similar features to the to the gyros posted earlier in the thread. Any thoughts? Also, I'm just about to take my centre, mid and front diffs apart to see how the gears and oil are getting on (2nd hand car). Never done this before as I'm new to the hobby. Any tips on the oil/grease to use in my diffs? The manual suggests the z164 grease in the front and back and 100,000 in the middle. Any thoughts? I should add that I mainly use my car on tarmac, both smooth and loose surface for fun not racing.
  2. Hi, I am about to upgrade my Vorza to have the following: - spektrum srs4210 avc receiver - Savox 1258 Servo - Castle BEC I know to run the above I need to install a dedicated BEC. My issue is that I can not for the life of me seem to work out how to gain access to the ESC to splice/solderdirectly to the battery terminals on the esc? I found the image below in a post, but could not see how they gained access or had enough space to solder. Advice would be much appreciated

  5. Hi, I also have a Vorza and want to upgrade to have a BEC to run my servo and AVC receiver. I understand the wiring, set up and parts needed. The only thing I am confused about is how you gained access to the ESC? I stripped mine and couldn't seem to work out how you ha enough space to splice/solder to wires? Help needed!!
  6. Hi, Getting back into the hobby... Just finished painting my shell metallic green. Looking for a new transmitter and servo. Any recommendations? http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/image/30919-/ http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/image/30920-/ http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/image/30921-/ http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/image/30922-/ http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/image/30923-/ http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/image/30918-/
  7. Hello all, Firstly i must apologies if this topic has been covered already, I tried to find a relevant post but was unsuccessful. Secondly, I'm another newbie and have recently purchased a HPI RS4 Nitro after reading countless reviews on here and other sites. After numerous blisters I have managed to get the car to start and complete the break-in procedure as detailed by the manual, but in my many attempts to start the car i have managed to crack the pull start handle. The pull start still works, but I'm expecting it to break any time or cause the cord to fray. Is it possible to buy a new handle? I have tried to look everywhere and i just cant seem to see them.. Anybody else been in this dilemma? What should i do?
