  1. isn't it the same truck but with a different engine, all the other parts/screws are the same so you want this one: http://www.hpieurope.com/manuals/pdf/859.pdf
  2. Here it is: http://www.hpiracing.com/manuals/pdf/867.pdf
  3. if you have some screws that will fit and you dont mind bodging it then do that, or just buy the HPI screws. you can find out what screws they are in the manual Your gearbox screw have probs been rounded, you could try a larger screw or ive read you can put a dab of super glue on the thread
  4. yep, Here's a few: I also bought the HPI hauler bag for it:
  5. I had it out for a good run on the local field last Sunday, its running well(although it was running a little hot, but i was running in grass that hasn't been cut for a while) 2nd gear was kicking in too early so ive altered it now for a later change. Ive done quite a few things/upgrades to it since i bought it: shimmed the diffs and changed the grease for silicone oil, upgraded to the HD servo saver spring steering bearing mod sway bar kit centre skid plate HPI aluminium pipe Servos Adjustable upper arms And probs more that i cant remember, lol My next upgrade its probs gonna be the clutch, i also wanna seal the engine too, and will also probs end up doing some form of mid tank mod(i quite like the look of the one that pressurises it from the bottom of the tank and it looks fairly easy to do)
  6. that heavy grease is what HPI put in the diffs from factory, its up to you. I personally would use oil
  7. 10,000 might be a bit light. I used 12,500 and think i should have gone a bit heavier I used this for greasing the pinion and diff teeth: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310384353025
  8. The W5 has a built-in failsafe, it should have prevented it, but you have to set it up.. Its very easy to do
  9. I have the Maximizer X-75 Beadlocks: With the maximizer beadlocks that i have some tyres require you to buy optional rings for the wheels in order to fit thin bead or soft compound tyres: http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1423.l2649 Im not sure about other brands of beadlocks
  10. i was thinking fo getting one myself, they look really good
  11. ebay maybe: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2ebc2b1a2c
  12. The most ive waited for items from Hong Kong is about 3 weeks(normally come within 2), ive never had any import tax on anything ive bought(from US aswell)
  13. do you mean this spring ??? If you do, yes, it is right. Although it should be quite a tight fit, nice a snug with the gasket:
  14. if the idle is up and down it could be a lean LSN, would also be worth testing for air leaks and sealing the engine
  15. Im using LSD(low self discharge) batteries at the minute. They are better than the standard if you plan on leaving the batteries for long periods of time without using them, but if your gonna be using them within a few weeks there is no real gain and they are lower mah than the standard rechargables. If your gonna buy LSD batteries these are very good: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item439e4d20e1
  16. Thats how i did it when i changed my steering servo, it didn't take long.
  17. if you cant get to them, just take the the skid plate/bumper off. I think its 6 screws(maybe 8), very easy
  18. I use this charger for my batteries(AA's, hump packs), it comes with all the different charge leads and you can select your charge rates: http://www.modelspor...-products/37637 I charge my AA's in the transmitter, but if you cant do that in your transmitter you can just buy these cheap battery holders for charging: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item27bf3c9a64 Those Duracell 2450Mah linked above are good, these Vapextech batteries are also meant to be good: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AA-8-x-2900-mAh-NiMh-Rechargeable-Batteries-Vapextech-/220368454050?pt=UK_ConsumerElectronics_Batteries_SM&hash=item334efbc1a2
  19. Could have been a lean LSN causing the idle to rise, try set the idle gap back to normal and richen the LSN, also, air leak maybe ?
  20. It the car new ??? Old ??? Have you set your needles back to factory and tried from there ??? If its the hyper 21 with 3 needle carb, the mid needle needs to be set flush and with the hole in the mid needle is in line with the hole for the HSN(you need to take the HSN out to line them up)
  21. strange... both my cars are pullstart and ive never had even a scratch off either... they both start within a couple of pulls (using byron fuel with OS#8 plug)
  22. http://www.modelsport.co.uk/hpi-savage-suspension-conversion-set/rc-car-products/24556
  23. You could do the ofna throttle mod: http://www.rccoh.com...a.throttle.html Or you could just replace the throttle/brake linkage thats broke: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4601510f38
