  1. Cheers ! good link !!! Looks like a bit of a ball ache though right ?
  2. Is an rs4 easily converted from nitro to electric ?
  3. Good info guys, thanks. Looks like if I want to go a bit newer I'm going to have to pay for the privilege. I'll have a look about and see what I can come up with, but it's looking like those 3 manufacturers. Thanks again for your help, I'll keep you posted .
  4. Hi guys, I'm new to this part of the forum and hope to be spending a bit more time here. My first question is, which would be a good reliable rally car to have ? A few mates have recently all bought ta02's, but from what I understand that chassis is quite old ? So I would like something a little newer that could handle a brushless setup maybe and still 4 wheel drive ? Also buying parts and upgrades to bear in mind. I'm open to suggestions really. I already have a Savage Flux and a Slash 4x4 so am used stripping down, building and tidying up things. Look forward to chatting with you guys .
  5. Thanks for the in depth info and pics bud !! I already have a Savage Flux so getting the dog bones kinda makes sense to me. Ive ordered the Tekno's and will update here when all fixed up !!
  6. Cheers for the info . . . . . and yep, that may just sway it lol.
  7. Hey guys, got a problem with my rear drive shafts popping out from time to time, started to get a bit annoying. I've heard of the tekno's and the MIP's but just wondered if anyone had any other experience with other options and which might be best ? All info welcome as usual and a couple of other options I've come across. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hot-Racing-Traxxas-Slash-4x4-steel-rear-cvd-cv-driveshafts-SSLF288VXR02-/271202969362?pt=US_Radio_Control_Control_Line&hash=item3f24f4e712 http://www.modelsport.co.uk/traxxas-rear-cv-driveshafts-slash-stampede-4x4-rally/rc-car-products/372034
  8. Hiya mate wherebouts in oxfordshire are you ?
  9. Bringing this back up again as I haven't managed to find any. Anybody know of anywhere to get the lower pins separately rather than buying another set of hubs ? Cheers
  10. Ok sounds pretty positive. Do you think the pins that come with them are heavier duty than the first set ? Reason I ask is that I have the standard ones on my flux and have constant problems with that lower pin bending and at the jam I even snapped one, lol. Thanks for the info guys.
  11. Sorry guys dont think I've quite worded it right. I mean the standard integy alloy rear hub : These And the Flux integy alloy rear hub : These It just looks like cosmetic differences, are the Flux ones really more heavy duty ? Cheers guys.
  12. Just a quick one really guys, whats the difference between the flux and standard integy alloy rear hubs ? Is it purely as cosmetic as it looks ? Cheers
  13. Put me down on the list !! Here's mine.
  14. Hopefully be spraying my first shell this week, so pics upcoming !!
  15. Do you use the longer screws on the mounts recommended in the savagejunky vid on youtube ?
  16. Keep this updated itsme93, I want to know if this works out, have noticed my pinion is showing signs of wear.
  17. Is there an equivalent to this servo on the market that is just as good ?
  18. yep that's the one, I understand funds may not allow though, I barely did lol
  19. Ive not got any experience with the motor esc combos other than the castle stuff. Ive got the hpi combo in mine which is made by castle, look around on the site for people talking about them or put up a thread about it ?
  20. Looking good mate, loving the shell aswell where'd you pick that up from ?
  21. Ive done it with mine and the kit tells you and gives you all you need to do to convert it. If you do it and need any help i'd be happy to assist . In terms of pics I can take some if you like but honestly it looks just like a normal flux. But yes id recommend getting the appropriate motor and esc.
