I've had a Hyper St Pro truggy, a good bomb proof truggy it is but its on the heavier side and the rear use to always squat on a 21 and 28 engine I had in it all that time . If I had a Hyper St Pro now I would of probably convert it to a brushless electric system and simply get another truggy or buggy out there. I've recently been hooked on to Kyoshos' I just love the quality which goes into them.

I got one of those from Machine Mart about 6 months ago, been perfect for my usage, which is mainly blow off gun for RC, lawnmower, etc etc, and with the pressure gauge doing the tyres on the cars. Fills quite quickly, lasts longer than I thought it would before re-filling the tank, and is actually light enough to carry round to your work area - I carry it round to the cars at the front of the house, and upstairs for any post DIY clean up duties (great for getting old silicone out from behind radiators!).
thanks for sharing your experience with it. I guess that it's not so bulky then and looks and seems compact?

Hello all,
as the title says, can anyone recommend an air compressor.?
it needs to be kind of portable and power enough to clean the hell out of my RCs and not break the bank card.
let me know what you guys use in your man caves!!

This is the one I would recommend, you will need to know the battery comet or you have, you can change it or model sport will do it if you let them know (for a charge),
thanks my man, looks good plus its water proof i will solder my deans on to it 😉

Do you know if it’s a brushless or brushed motor in the truck currently, do you have a link to the model or specs?
its a stock brushed Kyosho motor in the truck

Hobbywing 1060bl, cheap, easy to use and very popular, I run mine with both 3s and 2 s or if it’s brushed just the 1060, uk stock too
thanks, would a brushless setup on 2s lipo be compatible with my stock brushed Kyosho motor?

When the switch is set to off the motor does start to spin, now the switch does turn the esc on and off as it has a blinking led to it. I reckon the throttle for esc is toast although the steering works perfectly fine.
Any cheap 2s capable lipo ESC suggestions as this truck does sprint on 2s lipo being it rear wheel drive too?

I took out my Kyosho Rampage truck yesterday, turned the transmitter on plugged in the lipo, it started to run away.
I tried to get it working this evening but it did the same thing. it spins on full throttle when it should just stay in neutral, I had a look at the receiver and there's no solid led or sign of life when the lipo is plugged in.
behaviour like this does it indicate there there's a shortage somewhere as the the truck wheels just spin constantly even when the on/off switch is off?

that's why you go and buy an Armaa infraction or an Outcast and avoid the hell of an any Traxxas model out there so they can learn a lesson

Switched out the stock SS 20 WR servo in my Savage XS as it died, replaced it with a Hpi SS 40 WP that I had kicking around, metal gears, higher torque and waterproof. Seems alot more responsive than the stock one, result.
Was going to go with a alloy horn but was to long, hit the centre driveshaft, so had to use the stock plastic one.
I thnik i need to replace my stock servo on my Savage X too, it seems to be lagging on the turns due to the wheel width. I was thinking of getting a bangood servo or maybe even a Savox
