I have succesfully moded the Tamiya Sand scorcher steering and would like to share it with you here we see a futaba bls servo mounte on chassis using some old kyoshos inferno radio tray mounts the servo rod is from stack reinforced with some old fluo yellow antenna tube yellow antena tube bolted onto servo saver and ball link onto top i also drilled and bolted the servo saver backwards as when the vehicle steered right, servo savers arm would bump to front limiting right turn radius i hope i gave the solution to the tamiya ss steering problem.Enjoy this great rc car

  8. Hi, Im interested in buying a high torque brushless digital servo . I know futaba has recently launched their brushless range of servos What do you suggest as an update to my kyosho inferno truggy steering servo? 1st option : Futaba BLS 451 http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/61_100/products_id/28059/n/Futaba-BLS452-Digital-Brushless-Car-High-Torque-Servo 2nd option : BLS 452 http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/61_100/products_id/28059/n/Futaba-BLS452-Digital-Brushless-Car-High-Torque-Servo 3rd option BLS 352 http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/61_100/products_id/27251/n/Futaba-BLS352-Digital-Brushless-High-Torque-Servo Also what should be an adequate amount of torque for my car ? I believe it should need above 10kg/cm as the standard servo is 6 kg/cm and does not have enough speed and power to turn the wheels
  9. well ive got the pure ten alpha with the two speed transmission on my gx12 and its much faster compared to the standard transmission. I would totally recomend it , together with a more powerfull engine .15 -.18 size !. Prons: acceleration , top speed reduced heat coming from the engine . Cons: NONE. Where do you find parts for your car? its hard to find for me , as it is an old car. Do you have a tuned pipe on your gx12? I ve put on mine full ball bearings and it accelerates even faster. Also im thinking of changing my engine it is pretty good yet old and underpowered . Maybe the Lrp .18 prospec3 Ive heard its one of the best for its price. Show us some pictures of your car.
  10. Thanks ! I' ve just ordered the 2 speed transmission from infernos only at a good price , Still deciding which lrp engine to fit .28 pro spec 3 or 30 x competition.
  11. if you cant purchase inferno mp9 then go for inferno neo However defenately not Hong nor xc1
  12. Probably i am going to buy lrp 30xcompetition the gxr28sg engine is the worst i ever seen Also i am thinking to buy the 2 gear transmisson for inferno gt2 to place in the truggy do you recommend it ?
  13. Inferno mp9 if you want the best buggy around
  14. Noticed that the cylinder head has become red due to high temerture??????????
  15. Moorlander, I have the Gxr.28sg on my truggy inferno st us sports 2 , but i find it difficult to tune it right. What are your carburator settings??? Also check out my topic : http://www.msuk-foru...st-us-sports-2/
