Hi.I shredded the esc to rx wires(they got under the summits spur guard,,,,? ) So I resoldered 'em.I haven't had rteverse for ages(no reason,just stopped working) Castle have stopped replying ages ago,lol.Now I've got reverse,,,,,,,? Don't know how,but I've got it

Hi.Pulled mine apart yesterday,the esc to rx wires'd weedled their way into the spur gear .Hopefully it's not shorted the esc/bec out and I can just resolder it

Hi.I'm running a MMM esc and 2200kv in mine.There are some 150A esc at hobbyking for less than $70.I've got something wrong with my esc/rx at the mo.If the esc's knackered,I'll be ordering one of the 150A esc fromhobbyking

Hi.Bigger hex's strip the wheel less.Traxxas 17mm ones are holding up well in my MMM'd summit.No probs so far

Hi.I'm gonna try the 35A esc and 5200kv motor in it.Only problem is the pinion internal diameter.The 5200kv's shafts 2mm,the stock's 2.5mm . Gotta figure out how to make it central on the motor after filling the hole and redrilling to 2mm.

Hi guys.my MMM 's just beeping at me. I took it out on the 20th,it stopped working,I thought it was the batteries in the TX,but no.I fitted a blower before it packed up,wired in through the tlock lights connector,Do you reckon it's blown the rx? Any hints are greatly appreciated

I've got a xtm rage clone,hbx captain ,or marmot,they keep changing the name,lol .It does about 18 mph stock.Jumps well too .I've got a maverick atom too,both 1/18th scale.Cool truck,nearly bomb proof. Avoid the mlst by losi,the servo's are crap,it does 13 mph,and the drive train may as well be made of toffee.Traxxas are a good rtr company,they honour the warrenty too,realy good customer service . Have a look in the modelsport site,or any other you fancy ,Research does save grief and money,I found out the hard way with the ml$t2

Hi.I broke a front a arm,the rear camber adjuster'd broken,so I took out the dogbone and ran the truck 3wd.I can normally "control" a crash by blipping the throttle when the appropriate tyre touches down.This time,I blipped the throttle as usual,but the power went to the lightest wheel(no dogbone) so the truck sodded off about 200 ft down the hill and hit a tree,hence the broken A arm.Gonna be trawling the net for replacements/hopups.Any suggestions? .Ooh I put a 35A esc and 5200kv on 3s in it after the breakages.

Hi.i've got a 3.3 maxx.I had to replace all the A arms with rpm,the engine cracked after a crash.I've got a MMM'd summit too(Revo on pcp) It's so much tougher than the maxx. Flies well,flows over rough terrain.The savages are tough,not as tunable as the maxx though.

Hi,I finally got the blower from poowerhobby.Could have had it for the weekend if they'd posted it promptly . Oh well,at least the nightmare nieghbour didn't nick it .I'll be trying a larger pinion later.May try the 22/58 combo for a couple of speed runs on short grass.I'll record it,and try to figure out to link it onto here.

Hi.A drip of wd40 on the rear of the motor shaft helps wonders

Hi.I had the same with the rear diff in the MMM'd summit.Loosening the slipper really helped.Sacrificed wheelies but saves cash and the annoying build/strip/build routine

Hi.I'm running 17/68 gearing,wanted to go a little faster . I've tried a 22/58 in the ice,but the motor got hot (it was - 6 c ) and it was dementedly fast,too fast for 1 inch thick ice.I wanted to try 18/68,the fan/blower'd help when its running in the in the rough stuff.

Mines Castle creations MMM .About 4 hp on 4s lipo's . I'n still waiting (2 bloody weeks) for a MMM heatsink/blower for the motor and a field card so I can get reverse without having to fart about downloading stuff from castle's website. My summits 2.4 ghz too,the motor throws out more radio signals than the stock am radio,,,,? lol .
