Thanks for all the replys, I've finally had time to get the gearbox out. I have figured out what was causing the problem thought I had snapped one of the central transmission pins on one of the drive bars in the gearbox Have ordered new from modelsport but they are out of stock!! Arghhh no running the car for a while now until the part come back into stock.

Hey I'm pretty new to the RC nitro truck world anyway I have a TT MTA4 .S28 truck. The truck was going round the garden fine it then stalled and since then the truck won't go forwards but reverse is fine. The engine seems alright as when in forwards the engine still revs. I'm guessing something has gone in the gearbox. As I said I'm knew to this and slighty scared that I'll damage the gearbox when I take it out. Any suggestions please? Thanks

Spent all day breaking in the engine yesterday! All good started first time off the drill start. Had a slight problem with fuel spitting out of the glowplug quick tighten and happy days. The one problem I have now is I can't seem to get it passed half throttle when I do push it a bit further the engine cuts outs. I'm guessing this is to do with the high speed needle? Do I need to make it richer or leaner? Can't do alot with it now as this part (http://www.modelsport.co.uk/index.php?product_id=17319) snapped off the front right wheel and I've walked the car park 10 times trying to find it but no luck!!

On my friends truck (AMAX Torche) it says not to use a battery higher then 3600mAH which is what I ordered however the shop sent me a 4300mAH? Is the 4300mAH battery ok to place in the truck or shall I send the battery back to the shop and get them to send the one I ordered? Cheers

I bought a TT MTA4 .S28 on Monday I think I've set it up correctly. I'm waiting for the weekend now when I have the time to start the break in procedure. There is alot of information out there and I've been trying to gather as much infornation as I can into one document so I have it on hand during the break in procedure. If you have any comments or suggestions on what I should do or deffiantly not do please reply as all feedback would be greatly appreciated. I am a complete newbie to the world of RC nitro trucks I

Hi all, I'm new to this as my Thunder Tiger MTA4 .S28 only arrived yesterday so I'm planning on breaking the engine in on the weekend. Anyway I live in Cwmbran and can travel to most places around south Wales. I do fancy the CCS car park though nice long straights on concrete.
