I went for RC monsters one, v happy.

I brought my last battery from hobbyking it shipped from the EU (Germany) and I paid no extra tax...

At some point they all come from outside this country, we don't manufacture lipo's in the UK

Looking for a suitable 6v receiver battery for the hyper 12. The battery box is small and I'd rather keep box rx and battery both in there. I spotted one on Wheelspin that was specific to the job and ordered it, only to be told its discontinued. Any recommendations?

I got it out as its burst into smoke. The heat had melted part of the battery tray and I broke both Velcro straps ripping it apart. I've plugged my 3s in and the ESC beeps up and drives.... I came out lucky

Looks familiar;) Are you going to remove the brakes from the centre diff? The vorza esc case works well but needs some drilling to fit the hobby wing esc. The GV cage holder fits but needs 3 holes drilled to hold it down. See my build thread for a layout

At the weekend, I had a Lipo short, smoke then burst into a fireball. it was spectacular The car was on its first major run out. The Lipo was a hardcase Turnigy 4s 5000mah 20c. The car had done a few cartwheels/hard landings. The battery was well strapped in. What causes this? Is it just be poor battery, bad manufacturer or just bad luck... I'm looking now to replace it back in the H7. Do I go down the 2 x 2s with a bigger C rating or stick with 4s single. (esc is Y leaded) Dan

I went for a 3s and it's mental.. Just check the sizes as the plastic battery tray post limits the battery size

I use the 2200 and 150a with a 19T on 4s As said above, gives the speed of nitro but the acceleration is awesome

I'm going to try rotate locations this year between Mote park, Maidstone. Herbert rd, Ashford Bartons point, isle of sheppey. This should everyone in Kent a chance to attend at least one bash

Up n Running. Done a few circuits around my garages making sure everything was tight. Very impressed with initial acceleration, lifts the front wheels just a little. Can't wait to jump it.
