  9. i can tighten 3 wheels on my buggy securely but one of them if i tighten it it wont turn freely ?? i have to slacken it off to get it to turn, i have tried washers as the wheels originally binded a bit, that worked for 3 wheels but not the one im having bother with, so simply if i tighten it up it doesnt run freely, if i slacken it off it runs but wheel is not very tight....any suggestions as im still new to this
  10. got some new tyres coming for indoor 1/10 buggie racing, what inserts should i run ? soft/medium/hard ? thanks
  11. had mine racing at a local club on friday night shame i couldnt handle it to save my life, new tyres will sort that to an extent, although one lad who can drive had a go and said it actually went pretty good for a RTR and the new tyres will make a huge difference. i crashed it a lot- head first into walls and full speed sideways into walls, few jumps and nothing broke...at the minute its still too fast for my limilted driving skills
  12. got a load of wheels that dont fit my car but the tyres are ok, whats the best way to get the tyres off the old wheels...thanks
  13. im still new to r/c so simple question....what glue for sticking tyres to wheels
  14. cheers for the replies, may get a set of each....mini pins, mini spikes and full spikes...all in yellow
  15. what tyres are best for indoor sports halls for a 1/10 4wd buggy....cheers schumacher whats ???
  16. all back up and running now, i should have spanner checked it anyway, i used to build my own rally cars and would never rally without a spanner check
  17. well i managed to take the car to the park for its first run straght away running on 4200 2s lipo's it was very quick and really impressed, had a few roll overs and no body parts broke (and that was on concrete) but then something happened, seems the car wasnt running as fast as earlier on so took it home to find out i lost a grub screw on the drive so car was running in front wheel drive only, so will have to go to the local model shop and get a packet of grub screws,......anyone know whats best to lock these in ?? will locktite do ?. apart from that for the money its got to be worth it, ordered a few spares from prawnracing so i can take it to the local club night
  18. all done, it had bind but the batteries werent up to the job in the transmitter
  19. car now up and running as an entry level 4wd buggy it looks the business for the money, cant wait to take it into the local park and give it a good blast around
  20. got my new car today, first trip into r/c, its a RTR FTX vantage, but i cant get it to bind, could this be my batteries aren't strong enough (they were pretty poor) is it best to do it with both transmitter and car batteries fully charged
  21. buggy turned up today, looks ok for the price, but i cant get it to bind might be the batteries in the transmitter are rubbish, will try again when i get some new batteries and charge the lipo up in the car
