Hi all. I've just ordered a losi 5ive today. Opened this thread so I can ask all the questions I want to all losi owners. First question is, do the diffs come oil filled or are they grease? Just wondering if I will need to order oil. I've also ordered killer bee fail safe, killer rc 7200mah lipo and outerwears for pull start and air filter. It will be run on castrol a747. Have I done all my research correct or am I missing a few things? Can't wait for it to arrive now so I can sit it at the side of my slash for size comparison

I've recently bought a weller sp80n iron. I'm wanting it for soldering deans connectors but the standard tip it came with is massive. 10 mm in diameter. I've been searching for a more reasonably sized tip but I can't seem to find one. Can anyone help on the size of tip that would be ideal and where I can find one?

Where can I get the alloy caps from? Might buy some to put me on until I buy the prolines.

They look a solid bit of kit aswell. I'll have to get me some. The stock ones pop after a big jump. What oils you running in them?

How are the proline shocks? The caps keep popping off my standard ones and one of the shafts bent so I had to repair it.

Would 20 pinion and 40 spur be fine to run on stock vxl on 2s?

Are the hobbywing motors any good or is it just the esc's that everyone recommends?

Where's the best place to buy hobbywing combos?

My slash is one of my best cars. Couldn't be happier with it. And I've only ran on stock motor and 2s so it's not the fastest at the moment but that will be taken care of.

Is the motor hobbywing aswell? I'm running a dusty motors cover, so will temps still be cool enough on 3s with that on?

I'll have to keep up with this thread. I'm wanting to upgrade my slash 4x4 to run 3s. Not fully clued up on the best combos out there though.

I've changed my order after a member on pc specialist forum gave me some advice. I'm getting a amd 6 core FX-6300 CPU and a amd radeon r7 260x gpu. He said it would make a world of difference but not a lot more price wise.

I have a hp laptop but it doesn't run smooth on euro truck

It's a 23 or 24 inch samsung smart tv

What is a good gaming PC to plug into my tv. I have no knowledge of pcs what so ever, so I'm counting on you guys. I'm on a budget of around 450. Would need to play euro truck sim and Phoenix rc flight sim. Also it needs built in wifi.

brilliant, soft case it is then now i know they will hold up well. some hard bashing to be done this weekend if the batts turn up in time.

Can they take jumps and rough terrain? Just looked on hobbyking but dont think there was any deans connecters. I have all the soldering kit but im not confident at it
