Love the look of this Sean, the thought of sending it on “missions” is quite tempting too - does it link to a smart phone or tablet?

Evrybody should have a plane in their fleet - just try not to over control. Keep it close in and slow and you can’t go far wrong!

It does connect to a phone/tablet, however on a big auto mission you calculate distance/battery toss it in the air and wait/hope/pray

I do remember a somewhat entertaining story of a chap at the local flying club, taking a plane up for the first time, he was advised not to take it too far away to begin with, but didn't listen, got to the point where they could still see it, but couldn't tell which way it was facing, harsh sun and novice pilot ended in a lost plane, even though he still had full control, they never found it!

Just had a vision of Harvey standing in the middle of a field, cursing the day he took the plunge into planes because Sean started this thread

If it all works as it should, it does have a return to home feature, I have tried a glider before with little success so I’m hoping with the  auto features of this I have more success  (fingers crossed)

  4. It could be a ban by traxxas, only allowing the dealer to ship in specific areas, the same as horizon do with losi products. In some ways it makes sense if we all bought from America all the uk dealers would go bust. I bought my DJI Mavic Pro from China and DJI will not honour the product and let me purchase DJI care

Don't need to own one to know their business practices suck or individual models problems which are well documented on many a website.

    What buiness practice sucks?

Hpi never chased/sued anybody, but now if you want a Baja you have to buy km because hpi are bust!!

traxxas are expensive but for me there models work and parts are plentifull, Losi never get slated, but a five with a pipe is now £1500++, I’m not a one make fanboi, but I am a fanboi of good rc models, Traxxas DJI Yuneec Losi  Hpi all make good expensive models

Don't care how long RC4WD have been around, Once I read this

"Due to the value of this product, all orders must paid with bank transfer. When you check out, do not choose credit card or PayPal as we will refund you. Make sure to select Bank Wire Transfer as your payment method instead."

    They can go whistle.

Sometimes it’s the only way, there are a lot of scammers out there

  7. I’ve got a Losi five and I’m very happy with it, I bought it new 4-yrs ago, it was about £900 I’ve just checked the new price out :@.@: £1500!! And at that you will still need a pipe and kill switch so at £1700 job done I would go the km route for approx £800 done, granted it might not have absolute quality but £900 buys a whole load of upgrades or a whole other car!

    How come Sean??

The xo-1 has that pan chassis with those NACA ducts under the belly right???

I'm gonna source some carbon fibre and make my own chassis wings etc

Anything over 50-60mph the surface has to be silky smooth, any bouncing and the car turns into a kite, I love mine but if your chasing high speed smooth surface is very important, I think you’ve done brilliant to get where your are now
