Chalk n cheese!! To learn about nitro and for cheaper parts I would go for the hyper 7, but a well maintained Tmaxx is a great laugh

You can currently pick up a phantom 3 standard for £449, that comeswith a 2.7k camera and 3axis gimbal by the time you put a decent camera in the kit price building your own makes no sense imo

You will be happy with a q500 I'm sure, it's very stable and my dad prefers flying the 500 over the typhoon h, I'm loving the drones and boat at the moment, the cars are not getting much of a look in

I've got a Q500 it's very good but I wouldn't call it small, it's got a 4K camera and all the clever functions, if you want something small with a decent camera then I would go for the spark with the remote, you are then looking at £650+ with two batterys if you do go for a Q500 get the pro pack as you also get a handheld gimbal and two batterys,it's got the st10 tx with its own screen and you will pick up a decent used one for sub £500

Before ripping the engine apart, check the coil/clutch and pull start running 50:1 is not a problem I've tried various ratios over the years and never seized an engine
