  1. Okay I'll go for gens ace, cheers Jay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. So gens ace? Are they any good? Or have people had bad encounters with these too? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Oh so maxamps aren't really as good as they seem? It said there's a true 150C discharge rate, and they're 100% waterproof. That's what made me want to buy some, mainly due to the C rating Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Nope, just want one thats reliable, with a high C rating. Ive decided im getting a maxamps battery now. It's
  5. Have you checked if the esc's heating up much? could be thermal cutoff Is your esc comptible with 3s lipos? Jay
  6. I just purchased some orion FLX carbon batteries off modelsport, thinking they'd fit, and then i went to check if they'd fit, on the manual, and they.re over 3c m too long! there.s no way they'd fit so I'm going to have to get a refund for them and buy new packs Now for
  7. It is from the shop, just got them off the website, i thought there'd be people form the shop on the forum, but okay i'll give them a call tomorrow Jay
  8. I just bought the wrong batteries and id like to change them, could someone pm me please? Jay
  9. 2 4s lipos? the fattest bullet connectors you can find, and the XL2 uses 8 guage wire, if you're using 2 batteries, you can use 10 guage wire, though i would recommend 8 or if you're using one 8s lipo, use 8 guage cable the main thing is, if you go higher than 8 guage, its pointless because the esc uses 8 guage Jay
  10. Cheers, i never knew that, and thanks for adding that brand to my direcory, i was looking at a hpi set but thats stupid expensive, i only need headlights and taillights, and probably underbody lighting, I'll check it out Jay
  11. No one? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Hi, I just got myself an apache c1, virtually brand new, from a guy on eBay with a hpi blur esc and 2200kv motor, I'm wondering what hopups I can get for it as I haven't found much on the internet, do the killer rc iris LED's fit in the existing front light pods? Thanks in advance Jay
  14. Should squeeze in, but if it swells, which they do under load, then you/ll have a problem, as far as i know anyways But its nothing a dremel couldnt sort out Jay edit: which way is it too big? and what's stopping it from fitting? Jay
  15. Thanks buddy, I'll have a look to see if I can find a plastic box that fits inside the vorza as soon as I get it Jay
  16. About the box, how would you go around the intake of the cool air? Jay
  17. I was only asking a question, not starting an argument about voiding warranties Okay how about this? What would you recommend me to do to my esc so that there is minimal risk of water ingress? It is an mmm by the way Jay
  18. One thing with that, this vorza I'm buying, it comes with the blur esc, and thats what I was on about, when that does die then I probably will buy the waterproof one but until then how should I waterproof mine without voiding the warranty? Jay
  19. Oh so applying corrosionx causes damage to the esc? I thought it would help because after looking in other threads, I thought due to how thin it is, the manuafacturer wouldn't really notice it was there.. Mainly I don't want to water damage the esc but I want to take it out in the rain and snow, are there any alternatives to actually applying something to the esc itself? I thought of something like the baja's radio box but then there'd be no air circulation Jay
  20. I saw someone say this on the traxxas forum before, and the other guy replied "then why do they sell oem replacement cases?" Jay
  21. But what it that area was masked off, it's mainly the circuit board at the bottom that I'm worried about, like say if a puddle of water ended up in there somehow Jay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Having a look for a cheap hpi blitz now, they seem like they have more modding potential Jay
  23. Damn a levels are hard

  24. As the title says, if i apply this on the esc and it needs to be sent back for a warranty issue, is there any way to remove it without causing any damage to the esc? I was thinking isopropyl alcohol but im not sure.. Any opinions on this? Thanks Jay EDIT: Also, is ACF 50 reliable? As in would you trust it with your rc in the snow? Jay
  25. You forgot to specify how many cells it is Jay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
