talking about the slash? or the sc10b that i mensioned earlier? problem is i bought a truggy (Ansmann Royal Flash about 3/4 years ago because i didnt like buggys then and i dont like buggys now if im honest, thats why i was looking at the slash and the sc10b, with a castle creations mamba or SCT motor so it wouldnt be slow on 3s i had a Electric 1/10 buggy when i was 12, cant remember what it was and it spent more time in the house being repaired that it spent outside being run, it constantly broke wishbone, snapped the rear wishbone mounting on the chassis(meant a new chassis) and burnt out a few motors even on a tiny nimh pack. i had that about a year its put me off buggys, i got the ansmann flash truggy when i was 15, i used that without problem for a year, i snapped the top suspension mount, fixed that,then the standard motor blew(replaced free by ansmann, told them the truck was new and the motor was burnt out straight from the box, obviously a load of lies haha ) then a few days later the ESC went after it went through a puddle, thats still sat in my wardrobe, still broken, i want something new, ansmann parts are not easy to come by now that ansmann closed down theyre ansmann racing division ive got 2 tracks that are local, batley buggy club(only buggys, not sure if i could get away with the sc10b even though it is a buggy) and mmrx in wakefield(closer to me, they do short course but im not sure where in wakefield it is)

i was just looking at the team associated sc10b which is a short course buggy, im really undecided because i want to race and the local club doesnt allow trucks its only buggys

Hi all, well i havnt been here in over 3 years,my last post was october 2010 o.O anyway, after a good 2 years of my ansmann royal flash being broken and me being too lazy to fix it, ive been looking at a new rc car staying with electric but this time ive been looking at the traxxas slash 2wd, i hear these are pretty bulletproof (until i get my hands on it and install a mamba max system and 3s lipo) how are people experiances with this truck? what is it like for upgrades eg: metal replacement parts? ive seen people installing the driveshafts from the xo-1 and stuff like that if anyone has a custom slash can you post a photo below with the specs and part #'s if you have them? anyone know where i can race SCT in west yorkshire? i know of the batley buggy club and mmrx in wakefield but im not sure if they race SCT? anyon got links to hpi baja metal part upgrades im buying the shengqi baja clone and will need upgrades to hop up with

well buying the shengqi baja and buying the hpi hopups will work out less than the hpi baja anyway so i dont see why people dont do that but i guess people would rather pay for the bigger name brand

yeah well i heard the hop up parts from the hpi baja fit the shengqi baja without any modifications so once i get enough money ill buy hop ups to make it stronger

im not bothered about it goin 60mph+... i want decent accel and around 30/40mph cos i aint got much space to play on (only 2 football fields 5 min walk away ) and i dunno what the signal distance is like on em im sure you can just tune it lean or rich to change the performance anyway im hoping my mum will pay the extra so i can get the petrol one so i dont have to travel miles to get fuel cos i can just get petrol from the station 5 min walk away and they sell 2 stroke oil too so its easier to get fuel for it
