  4. Your nitro start gun won't work with rotostart back plate they spin in opposite directions but your better off with pull start
  5. That will do fine for 4s power but think I can beat the price you mentioned
  6. Thanks that helps just need to get the right kit for spraying liquid mask now it's pain brushing it on all the time
  7. I'd like to pick your brains on what stencils you've used like the hexagon effect most the stencils I have are too big for even 1/5 bodyshells and I hate single use masks like the Parma ones can you recommend any
  8. Both cars you mention are distributed from Germany and most shops in the UK won't keep the kits in stock as it's easier to sell a rtr tis the way of the new lazy generation just give modelsport a call they should be able to order what you want the tourch n is no longer available only the rtr version the Stoke n kit is available and in stock looks like you might need to up your budget and try the hyper st for
  9. Can be had for a lot cheaper if you look hard enough
  10. Thing is if you want better than the hyper st pro it costs a bit more http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=141393280811&globalID=EBAY-GB
  11. Teamc stoke n or try this http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=371343451186&globalID=EBAY-GB it's the team c Stoke but rebranded by ansmann and the options for this car are endless I've now got 6 different variations of this car and all it takes is a few parts to change it from buggy to truggy to gt and also brushless
  12. Any specific upgrades you looking for I can post links to every one there is but I'd be here all day have a look here http://www.teamcracing.net/index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=16&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=71 And check on this list what fits your car http://www.absima.com/absima_uploads/Kompatibilit%C3%A4tslisten/Kompatibilit%C3%A4ts%20Liste%201_10%20English.xls if that link don't work you want the 1/10 compatibility list from here http://www.absima.com/en/support/downloads.html Apart from adding turnbuckles and bearings the only upgrades to make a difference are the big bore shocks and the reinforced front end http://www.modelsport.co.uk/team-c-chassis-plate-front-upgrade-set-2wd/rc-car-products/375342 If you want any more info to help try team c forum
  13. On 4s it will be fine as a starting point and the 2300kv motor is plenty fast enough the only week point are the chinesium drive shafts and chassis plate but at
  14. First thing first bin them tower pro servos are probably the worst thing you could use take a look at the video I know his are the 995 but they are all the same
  15. Already sorted that one thanks pathaleon though even if I do get stung the total value would be less than what I'd pay here
  16. Thanks jony nitro but after needing some parts from Hong Kong I thought why not get the cheap speed passion revention pro the only other one I looked at was the Orion vortex 10.1 and that was stupid money even from China the whole combo that's
  17. You shouldn't have to shim between the flywheel collet and the bearing this can put unwanted pressure on the front bearing
  18. Footprint means it's too big to fit where it's ment to go but I've realised its the Jekyll which is the tc02 Evo So should fit just and for parts I've found these mark price down on postage so no customs charges http://shopping.rcmodel.hk/index.php?cPath=2_92&sort=&filter_id=161 Or try this seller on eBay http://stores.ebay.co.uk/jkrcuk?_trksid=p2047675.l2563 but he's not selling at moment but he stocks all the Jekyll parts
  19. What will really blow your mind is when you add steering to it
  20. don't forget to add bearings to the kit and if you want cheap parts and upgrades just let me know And the combo Capri boy linked you don't want it's too big a footprint for the car you want this http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__65980__TrackStar_ROAR_approved_1_10th_Stock_Class_Brushless_ESC_and_Motor_Combo_13_5T_.html
  21. Thanks Si Coe but as its a bigger footprint and the sensor cable being gm specific I think I'll miss that one I was going for the lrp flow but that is the old style button press system for programming I think there's no mention of program box anywhere the only two contenders I think are the hobbywing or the Orion 10.1. Are there any others I should consider and it's a pity nobody rate the speed passion as I could get that cheap at
  22. The ts4n is a small block 1/10 engine and probably wouldn't even move the savage
  23. I'd take the head and backplate off first as if there is damage trying to force it even with heat could cause more damage
