Any opinions one these? Been doing a bit of mooching around and opinions seem to be mixed on. Already got an M05 and I'm considering another 'mini' chassis. Not sure weather to hunt round for a Cup Racer or go for aTamiya M06. Thinking an M06 possibly more interesting/ challenging to drive?

The hardest it'll get used will be sat on the shelf looking pretty or I might hang it on the wall. It'll never be run. Way too precious to get damaged.

Well, for esc and motor I've fitted the brushless 3250kv motor out of my drifter that's gathering dust and a Hobbyking Xcar 80a esc that I borrowed out of one of my rc bikes. Quite surprised by the result. It's really smooth. Nippy enough too, it'll pull wheelies off the mark. Good runtime too about 25 minutes. Was only planned as a experiment but I might leave it in for the time being. Motor gets a bit warm so I've fitted a fan/ heat sink. See how that goes.

That's actually a very good point. They're the right colour and the right make of wheels to match the two Subaru's that are in the Global Rallycross Championship. Fingers crossed then.

My first thought was maybe they're intended to go with a different body? Wishful thinking probably.

The castle bec's aren't waterproof but I run them on a few of my crawlers, shoved inside the finger of a latex glove with the end cable tied to seal it. Never had a problem.

Must admit that is in the back of my mind but from what I gather the modern stuff is far less hassle. Although will always take more looking after than lipo.

How many on here run the nitro WR8? I'm sort of pondering on maybe getting one to go with my WR8 Flux. How do they compare speed wise? My only other experience with nitro was around 1989-90 when I had a Kyosho Peugeot 406 rally. From what I've seen the WR8 3.0 seems fairly easy to get on with.

What some do is use a piece of a craft knife blade as a pad. I've just glued on a small piece of lexan as a pad. Holding up fine.
