  1. What type of pinion do i need for my Tamiya TA-02 chassis? I thought it was a 48dp but ive heard that Tamiya cars use a different pitch (42?) Cheers guys.
  2. So an E 10 not a good option then? I've done the first few usual mods (diffs, taped tyres etc.) and it looks promising. Its already good a motor in equivalent to a Tamiya RS540 (i forget the name) so it goes ok. Might pick up a set of cheap drift wheels and tyres. Something like these?: http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/car/item/1000049-Pro-Drift-Wheel-Tyre-Set-Full-Set-Of-4__5c88/
  3. This any good to ya? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TAMIYA-SAND-SCORCHER-MONSTER-BEETLE-P-Parts-NEW-/150515597028?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item230b6dbee4#ht_1033wt_689 Or http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TAMIYA-BLITZER-BEETLE-MONSTER-BEETLE-P-Parts-/180576534289?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item2a0b333f11#ht_1069wt_689
  4. I've dug out my old TA-02 rally car (Castrol Celica) and i'm curious as to weather its worth trying to convert it into a drifter. Or should i just think about getting something like an E10? I'm only after something for a bit of fun. Cheers
  5. I like the DC graphics, looks smart.
  6. Can you run this with standard 6 cell 7.2v stick batteries?
  7. Sorted. Bagged an Axial RTC. Very pleased so far.
  8. I'm not really thinking about competing at the moment but you never know. I've looked at the XR10 but it's a bit more than I want to pay at this stage, so, that leaves the Losi or the Axial. From what I've seen, the Losi looks to be the best out of the box but the spares availability seems to be better for the Axial. But The Losi looks bit 'toy like'. What do you guys think?
  9. Thanks very much for that mate. I'm from Walsall. I've narrowed my choice down to either Axial's AX10 RTC or a Losi Nightcrawler. I do fancy having a look at some comps tho, I'll look into that. Thanks again.
  10. I'm after a ready to run Crawler not a scaler. I really like the spec of the Losi Night Crawler but cant make up my mind if it looks a bit toy-like due to the bling and the lights. (can they be disconnected?) The Axial RTC looks good but doesn't look as good spec for the same money. What got me interested is, a mate of mine bought an Axial RTR Scorpion and i thought it looked like fun. But you know what its like the more you look the more you end up confusing yourself with choice. I think i've counted out the crawler King as to me it seems to be the least capable of the three. Or am i wrong?
  11. Thinking of buying my first crawler. What do you guys reckon? Axial Scorpion RTC or RTR, HPI Crawler King, Or Losi Night Crawler. Cheers guys.
  12. Hi, first post here. Are there any crawlers out there from the West Midlands area? Any one know of any good places to rock crawl in the area too? Cheers.
