  1. when you say connecting directly to the router was that a wired connection or still by wifi just without the repeater.

I am thinking it might be the wireless equipment in the computer that is causing the bottleneck rather than the mains link into the shed

  2. for just one day i would say go for the saturday but make it a long one and stay on for the evening fun round the fire, and the indian food. But as DeadMeatUK said if the forcast for the weekend showes a particular day being significantly better weather for running cars than the other go for that one.

Also the more the tracks have been used the smoother the surface so for the small scales the sunday can give the best runs once the grass has been worn to almost a carpet, not such an issue with the 1/5 scales.

  3. Does Bashfest have an associated forum? We aren't planning a Jam for a while, so would be nice to back something else.

A few of us from here attend regularly and all are definately welcome.

Have a word with 'silverback RC products' if you want to have a MSUK forum bash incorperated withing their event, there is usually a second event in August.

  4. had lots of dealings with them including customer service for faulty items, always been happy and satisfied with the experience.

Items from china usually arrive in about 10 days, uk warehouse took longer as i think they  operated as a drop ship agent for the item i purchased, since the postage charges are free or very cheap from china i just use the china warehouse.

  5. the problem with the revo as a rolling chassis is the 2 speed automatic gearbox with reverse. you would want forward only conversion and lock it into second gear. The rest of the drive train is fine as its the same strength as the erevo brushless. Might want to consider getting the revo roller and then getting erevo chassis and gearbox/motor mount. the front and rear bulkheads and arms, wheels etc should just bolt on.
