  1. Hi! I currently have a rustler VXL which runs on a cheap 2s lipo. the old esc's wires came un solderd and i tried to solder them back in and i cant do it and ive made a mess of it. I just bought the mamba max esc which is think was stupid and should of paid the bit extra for the pro. It has a few rpm upgrades and aluminum shocks. I have been using it for on road use and every time i crash or tap something lightly something breaks and road is getting boring so ive started using it off road. Its terrible off road and doesn't come close to the performance of my savage 4.6 that i sold and it barley moves through long grass and motor gets hot easy. I was thinking about swapping it or selling it then buying a brushless e maxx. Mianly because its bigger, powerfuller (if its a word) and i imagine way better off road. I basically want my that i sold but a brushless version for cheap. Do you think this is a good idea and do you think some one would swap me for the rusty if they have a brushless e maxx as ive put ALOT of money into my rusty.
  2. Rustler vxl with loads of RPM upgrades.
  3. Then why not say best brushless car/truck. Im not trying to be a ass but my brother is also disabled and he manages fine with his pull starts and i think his brother would too... Being disabled doesn't make you paralised...
  4. Any mamba ESC wanted for 1/10 rustler vxl. Needs to work good and be in good condition. reply if you are interested in selling.
  5. id would prefer 1/10th scale and i want a second hand truck/truggy so
  6. hi guys, Ive currently got a traxxas rustler vxl and Ive been bashing it for a while and im getting quite bored as ive never been to a race track in my life or had a race. Ive only ever bought bashers like the savage and t maxx and i want to get into racing. I live near the frankley race club and im 15 (am i too young?) I definitely want a brush less
  7. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDU11&P=ML those but if your running on other terrains like grass ect then get bad lands.
  8. Hi I'm wondering what shock set up id need for on road and off road? I'm assuming that stiff shock are good for on road as long as low ride height although when you stiffen the shocks the ride height is raised. And when you lower the ride height the shocks are loose. I need to know as im setting my rustler vxl for bashing.
  9. Id go for the bad lands mate. Ive had the geolanders and just got the badlands and the badlands are 1000 times better. I run them front and back on my rusty. http://prolineracing.com/all-terrain/badlands-2.8-30-series-all-terrain-truck-tires/ what surfaces will you be running on?
  10. Hi Ive got a traxxas rustler vxl and Ive been having a few annoying problems and haven't been able to use it for ages. Inside one of the motor wires there is a breakage which makes the wheels spin like mad with the controller switched off and also makes the motor cut off sometimes. I went to pull out one of the wires and the metal thing that you put the wire into in the esc has came out :| What will i need to repair the damage as i think that the thing you slot the motor wire into (on the esc) is solderd in usually, also what wire do you use and can you obtain it prepared (with the special ends on and cut to right lengths with colour stickers on). Sorry for my wording - I'm trying my best to describe each part that i don't know the names of
  11. I really really HATE the look of pin tires, especially those trac-ta-gators but looks arn't everything and i know for sure that they would be the best tires to get for performance. I guess the reason i hate them is because they look like someone has got huge plastic studs and stuck them randomly to a tire as the badlands look like alot of thought has been put into them. Im going to take the plunge and get the trac-ta-gators. Thanks!
  12. Basically less agressive versions of the gators. Gators are a bit overly agressive and the pins are like plastic - which is good but a bad idea unless you run on grass only, and if you run only on grass then get them! Unless the grass is short and dead.
  13. Bad choice, their a little out dated now and the losi 8eight is much better IMO.
  14. Grass? proline trac-ta-gators. dirt? proline dirt paws. bit of both? proline badlands not to get? Masher 2000's unless your just running on dry dirt. Im also in the same situation as you and im stuck between trac-ta-gators and badlands. But if i was running only on grass then the choice would be obvious - trac-ta-gators but im not sure if il be running on dirt ect.
