jeez mate, good job hsbc saw it and cancled it. my sister had summat almost similar a while ago where some tried usin her details to buy a 50p ecard, bank said people steal details then buy summat cheap like an ecard that dont need a traceable address then if that goes through ok they start goin for more. only reason they stopped it for my sister was coz she had never baught an ecard before

I've had offline fraud before and HSBC were hot on the case then aswell, very pleased with them.

In my case they spent 80 dollars with facebook to check it was working then went for the big sales 2 days later. Thankfully my paypal account had limits so them trying to make a huge payment frooze my account. Paypal kept on trying to put the payment back through though, useless!

Yeah be carfull. got to your paypal account throught paypal & not through an e-mail link.

Indeed all is legit, this is backlash from a problem I discovered and partially sorted a few days ago.
