Winter series dates: Round 1, 4th December 2016 Round 2, 28th December 2016 (Christmas karting special) Round 3, 22nd January 2017 Round 4, 19th February 2017 Round 5, 12th march 2017 (final) The amended points scoring system will be 100 points for the top position in race finals and -5 for every position down from p1. Also you will get a bonus point for fasted time qualified lap in class.eg 2wd,4wd and buggy class. For example in race finals. Short course: P1 Matt stokes 100 points P2 mark suggit 95 points P3 mark Pearson 91 points (FTQ) +1 point P4 Alan Martin 85 points These dates will be flexible, due to weather we may have to change one or two. We will do our upmost to keep to these dates. Booking in from 9am till 10am Racing starts at 10.30 am.
  2. Plenty of firewood rounded up now for the campfires. The oval has been marked just waiting to be mowed and then on to the track preparations.
  3. Just to let everybody the raffle prizes are coming thick and fast from various manufactures and retailers. There a dbxl in there's and a nice thing from scott Finlay ?. Raffle will take place on the Saturday night before the karting. Any questions pls ask

  5. Hi peps, we've just had confirmation that with all full price tickets purchased it'll include the carting session on the Saturday night. So that's a action packed Saturday night planed now
  6. Ok peps just to be clear we've had loads of people asking if it's just a Largescale event.....no!! there is organise quad/heli racing and structured racing for all scales dependant on numbers in each category..and a large bash area available

  8. Yes you are 95% correct. But the material it is made off is very flexible and does not split as mentioned. In fact what I have discovered is that ones it's had a ding or a mark on the shell, heat it up and it just returns to the original mould. Honestly it's like magic. I know of 5 of these shells getting run at the moment for nearly a year and there has men no failures that I'm aware of.

MMR Festival 2016 - Tickets now availableWe've been getting lots of requests for Festival info lately, so here it is: MMR Festival will be another 3 day event running from friday 29th July to Sunday 31st July. You can get 1 day to 3 day tickets and the saturday night will feature Indoor Karting and racing. Check out the poster below for more info and we'll see you there.
  12. Well I'm glad to say the first round of the winter series is fast approaching. The first date is 31/10/15. All the info is on the previous threads. Any q's fire away peps Round 1 - 31st October 6.30pm (DATE CHANGED)Round 2 - 28th November 6.30pmRound 3 - 29th December XMAS SPECIAL 4.30pmRound 4 - 30th January 6.30pmRound 5 - 27th February 6.30pmRound 6 - 26th March 6.30pm FINALThis series is aimed at 1/5th scale cars, each round features 2 categories of racing for 2wd and 4wd and final races. Anyone can partake and we welcome veterans and newcomers alike, its a fun event with an emphasis on racing. Cost per round is just £15 per person and transponders are handed out inclusive. The MMR Modeltech shop is open all night for engine spares ONLY and helpful advice. Spectators are free to watch and we welcome anyone who can help out with marshaling.
