  1. Has anybody seen this charger, a mate who has some helies is selling a few bits and offered me this Not seen one before looks like it will do just about everything http://www.pegasusmodels.co.uk/detail.asp?...s&ID=992899 Just wundering if it is any good or all show and no go
  2. Sorry for putting up old news I had to say something as soon as I saw it
  3. http://uk.youtube.com:80/watch?v=GFOZZLRTaYc Has any body posted this clip before ? The only thing I can think to say is why and to much bloody money
  4. Thanks again fivecheebs Gordon knows what he is talking about when it comes to brushes Its nice to speak to someone who is not a salesman and loves what he does Me thinks he owes you a pint or three
  5. Thanks again fivecheebs I will email him
  6. Thanks for that I have looked at the old threads and most of the links for the brushes they were looking at have expired Do most brushes come with different sized needles or nozzles to go from fine to large coverage? Also are they capable of spraying water based paints as well as acrylic paints, as not sure which way to go water based would probably clean easier and be less toxic, but it seems that acrylic will adhere better Finaly which brushes are better for this type of work gravity fed or syphon suction types?
  7. Could you give me a idea of how much I should have to spend to get a decent brush as I am not tight but they do seem to go from £10 to £250. Also which make, I have tried the pen style and the gun style but they are both very cheap and you could not change the flow you just got what happened when you press the button with very little if any adjustment, I prefered the pen style
  8. Thinking of starting painting body shells can any body help with a good cheap airbrush to start with? I have a compressor in the shed, which should do the job What is a good media to practice on as paper is no good, as you have to do it in reverse Also would I have to get a fine brush for line and a different one for the larger areas. What web sites one you recommend for a one stop shop for all the paints cleaners and such like as I have had a bit of a trual and there is a lot to choose from and I cant find anyone specific to this situation. Dont worry about me stealing anyones business as I am about as artistic as a fart but would like to give it a go to say I did that. Any help appreciated
  9. Get the Hyper ST They dont half take some stick With the crashes I have had I thought I would be putting it in the skip but still A OK

    all revs

I would also check that the return spring on the throttle linkage is tight enough to make the throttle shut off when you hit the brakes
  11. It looks like you can get the spare nuts and screws from http://www.jespares.com/catalog/index.php?...Socket%20Screws You can also buy the wing which should come with the washers, nuts and screws. Have had a good look around and I can not find anyone selling just the washers The nearest thing are these http://www.jespares.com/catalog/product_in...roducts_id=3335 But you will have to get countersunk screws instead of what was there and I am not sure if the washer will be big enough to hold the wing on in a crash. Dont know if it helps but I have the ST Pro kit and the part code for the wing on the instruction book I have is 88035 this is with ally washers Looks like a good one for ebay see how cheap you can pick a wing and bits up for Good luck

    Which Radio Gear?

I have the 3GR 2.4 GHz have only had it a few weeks but have given it a lot of use and I have to say it is good, especially as I came from a Saber Dash 27Mhz All the functions work well and it is a doddle to set up once you get used to the abbreviations they use, the receiver that comes with it is good, it is a lot smaller than the Futaba AM one I had, the manual is easy to work through as well I got mine for £139, but the bloke in the shop was hung over and I did not complain when he said the price I cant get on with wheels so I had to spend a bit more on the stick set which seems a bit of a con, as wheels always seem to be cheaper
  13. Got the Hyper ST run in and tunned thanks to all the help from you guys Got to say goes like stink, and the first time I rolled it I laughed which I was not expecting to do Just got to set up the car a bit better the brakes are set a bit strong for the front I think as it almost does a endo when braking hard, would a 60/40 bias to the front be good as I think I have a lot on the front at the moment. Also with heavy corning at speed a back wheel cocks up and it will roll a bit easy, should I slacken off the anti roll bar a bit for hard pack? Or is it just me being to keen on the throttle Sorry if this is the same as a post in general but I meant to put it here and cant see a way of removing the one in general
