  1. Generally the Hyper range are fast, strong, and very cheap for spare parts.. But they are too well known.. Everyone has them.. Myself included.. But i really do love the things....and whoever said a hyper is a little past its racing time, well they couldnt be more wrong.. I can easily keep up with lap times compared to a Losi 8ight 2.0 and Associate rc8.2... Its not about the rc, its about the person driving it..... If you wanting something that is an all round good basher then id say settle for a hyper 7, you wont be let down... Or if the popularity of the hyper 7 is making you not want one, then for the same sort of price, id go for the Kyosho Inferno Neo buggy... Very good buggies too, and very strong... They arent quite as stable and fluent in the air as hyper's, but they certainly are fantastic machines... Kyosho arent currently the brca 1:8 buggy winning manufacture team for nothing...
  2. In general, and from my experience of using many many different types of engines.. Force engines are just utter junk... OK some people generally like them, For the typical basher they DO THE JOB!!!, but thats about it, Dont expect anything fantastic from them.. Poorly built with poorly machined metals, Engines may seam good at first, but they are short lived.. They die out pretty quickly compared to... how do i word it here.... a more top of the line engine... Orion Alpha engines really are the dogs shiny bits Eye watering power and fantastic engine life (obviously if tuned and ran correctly, generally looked after well).... can pick up an Alpha engine for around
  3. Personally, id recomend going with the 4274 can version over the 4082. Both are 2000kv 4 pole motors, but the wider motor size has thicker windings and will be so much better, and less chance of cogging... Trust me
  4. Hi guys Got a brushless motor mount here, that i bought for my hyper 7 conversion.. This mount has never been used, just been removed from packaging... When i bought this a few weeks ago, i was forced to buy it from Rc-Monster because everywhere else was out of stock. RC Monster is USA, which ended up costing me
  5. Yeah.. Well i did put it on here forsale quite late last night.. If it was earlier in the day and more people were online at the time then i reckon it would of sold pretty much instantly..
  6. Hi guys Looking for a used, but perfect working order starter box for 1:8 buggies... With or without battery.... Not fussed about appearance condition, eg: scratched, scuffed etc. Just aslong as it works fine... I will pay gift payment to avoid charges... let me know, along with pics and prices you are wanting... Cheers

  13. well with Sony on the verge of Bankrupt, and with figures how they are, probably wont survive out of 2012.. Where does it leave us PS3 users? 0 customer services, 0 online gaming servers, 0 games productions / porting, Forced to buy a white box that constantly gives red lights.. Oh fantastic sony..

Had the Xbo360 elite from new when they first came out, sat it on it's box and played it for 16 hours straight, it's still working and never missed a beat. PS3 technology was 3 years old when it was released.

hmm, i love the look of it, its just a good source for spare parts.. Modelsport barely stocks them

  15. id personally charge at 3.5a.... Slightly higher than your batteries capacity, so charge times will be slightly quicker, But overall life of the battery will be reduced.. although its only 200mah over the batteries capacity, so it wont kill the battery very quickly at all.. But in my opinion, battery life isn important, Nimh's are the past... Lipo and Life have now taken over... Ergh, ive charged 1800mah Nimhs at 5a quite alot of times in the past.. just for the extra rapid quick charge times, battery got hot, but was perfectly safe and fine....
  16. how long do you reckon a 54 A/Hr car battery would last powering an imax b6 50w charger charging 5000mah 4S Lipos?

    1. Baja 5b

      Baja 5b

My 88ah battery seems to lose no charge when i use it to charge my 2s race packs at 10a atleast 8 time in a race day. So quite a long time, of cource it depends on what you are charging though.

  17. anyone up for a game of either battlefield 3 or black ops zombies on ps3?

  18. i dont want to covert the whole thing,, like replace parts, if i dont have to. etc... BUt to make it look like a truggy.. I know id need truggy wheels and tires.. But how would i go about mounting a shell on my buggy? Would a 1:8 truggy shell fit straight on if i cut it myself and cut out the body post holes myself so it fits the buggy? cheers
  19. hi guys This is very random i know, but i have seen alot of rc racing lately across the net, mainly 1:8 brushless truggies.. and seen how they jump and how they generally absorb jumping etc... and to be honest, i think they look nicer than buggies... And since i have a hyper 7e buggy.. i was wondering how easy it would be to transfer to truggy? and if its fairly easy.. Whats needed? cheers
