  1. Hows the 0-rings? or is it the threads in the caps?
  2. Welcome back to the club mate
  3. Have to forget the delrin, seems GPM have stopped making them and they're all sold out everywhere .
  4. Would you consider delrin for your Spur? I've been using a GPM Delrin spur on 6S and they hold up, and thats running without a gear cover.
  5. Saw the vid last night on NLB website and still blown away Josh...cant believe the front end stays down with all that power (at half throttle?!)
  6. RC Raven dual rates are killer springs, I'm finding they work well in every situation. Great investment mate
  7. Revo madness empty your msgs!!

  8. Cheers Josh All cool with the marks on the roll bar, but annoyed about the caps but as you said running with no body and on tarmac User error with the slipper, works a treat when adjusted properly..will have a ganda at these locked ones
  9. Took the LST2 to the local park the other day, large flatish grass area to get some speed runs.. ESC wires can be seen going under the chassis top plate CC BEC is held down with ties.. still From Above New era roll bar has taken a little beating past few days (from running on the street) - but I wouldnt run without it Shock caps also taken a few hits on the street My camera battery died after taking the pics of the shock caps Speed runs went well until I got a crowd of kids and dog walkers asking all sorts of qustions...my fault for going to the park on saturday I suppose lol. I knew I needed to adjust my slipper but just carried on running. Damage reprt High friction slipper pad Should look like these This is all that was left of one of the pads Thrust bearing has completly disintegrated, no bearings were left Losi alloy servo horn needs replacing Had some spare HF slipper pads so that was easy to replace, thrust bearing is only available from the USA so ordered a couple of spares and Losi servo horn I've ordered from the UK...fingers x'sd OverdriveRC get the parts here before the NLB bash on the 12th
  10. Chris mate, Kristian didnt screw the 4 screws in all the way in or threadlock them on the diff.
  11. Well at least you've found your problem Take your time when building and double check everything before installing
  12. Didint mean to put any worry in your head about the receiver mate, mine didnt blow anything up just started acting weird and then never worked. Glad its working now, bit of an expensive replacement. Great choice with the servos You cant lose with either set up IMO Aye, what were Proline thinking I love dying wheel, still got another two sets to do myself but all in good time (cant afford to put tyres on them tbh lol) FSY's 40 series also discontinued? I have looked as I'm running on some at the moment and like em but cant find any
  13. That servo is well toasted mate. Keep an eye on that receiver, I had to replace a SR3300T recently due it mis-behaving The Hitec 5990TG servo is indestructable and waterproof, not tired the waterproof bit yet though. Easly throws the 17lbs LST2 around and very responsive. Its one of the best upgrades I've done TBH. I've cartwheeled a few times, hit the curb at wrong angles and the stock bell cranks and losi alloy servo horn are the only parts that have needed to be replaced. As said before its stupidly strong for a servo..this is on 6S with the servo running on 7.4v The hitec 7955TG runs the same spec as the 5990TG on 6v so get one of each I love the 40 series, great collection you've got . I got 8 Wabash and 4 Velocity. You know what the offset is on the Wabash? They didnt seem to run as well with the dudes 15mm offset hex's as the FSY 40 series (same offset as the Velocity) did.
  14. Great pics Chris, you've lost some weight I see
  15. Looking good Ahmet, that's not the 2300kv motor is it?
  16. Sorry to hear about you diff problem mate Were they new bevel gears ? What diff cases you using? How far you filling the diff with oil? Shimming really does help, try 2 shims on rebuild
  17. Hope you get your problems sorted Josh LST2.8 Monster is defo comming...
  18. Looks great lowered IMO Yeah I'm up for that on the 12th ..after our Monster off lol
  19. Cheers Ahmet Wasnt hitting the throttle too hard so I expect higher temps in the future, but the 1717 on 6S 5000mah 40C is very effiecent I've also been posting my build on LSTForums, due to the experience of the members with BL Losi's. It was pointed out that I was abusing the EPA in punch on the DX3S. After some advice I've changed the Punch control on the MMM with the castle link and the throttle curve, and recalibrated my TX MMM with all settings on full. BEASTY is all I can say, torque, speedy and even more ballsy . Most of todays run's have ended up with the LST2 sliding 20 feet down the street upside down facing backwards. Will record some speed runs next.
  20. Hit the woods for a picnic with my kids today - and to test the build on 6S on something different other than tarmac...cut a long story short my little girl changed her foot wear to flip flops as I loaded the car and put her jumper back in the house. This limited where we could go in the woods, and wasnt long before I was told her feet had bits on them and she was cold and wanted to go home blah blah lol...shes on 4 LST2 in woods A few pics of the LST2 running, ground was very loose, great for dust trails though. The Ford 250 is quite a tight fit, for running on loose ground I just put it over the front bumper Putting down some power down, belting the foams and tyres has worked a treat. Check out the log stack in the background..tried and failed to climb it video below Log climb FAIL Punch control set at 85% on DX3S, as you'll see pine cones go everywhere and I managed to destroy my kids picnic , camera is fine though Why not to focus on the camera more than you're RC Punch control down to 75%, out come the wheelies I still need to jump and find better ground to get all the power down, but happy with where this build is at. I'm loving the dudes 15mm offset that much... I've gone and bought a set Temps from running in the woods Abient temp 20 degree c Lipo temp 26 " Motor temp 40 " MMM 36 " Still need to sort out a plate for the CC BEC and make two battery straps.
  21. One of my fav RC's around It been lowered?
