  1. Hiya, You set the coil gap with the head removed. Just bolt the fan cover to the engine then set in the usual way. Once set though it very rarely needs doing again. Just check each time you take the head off in case anything has moved. Regards, Nige.
  2. It's Saturday I don't think there will be anyone in there office to take your call. Call um Monday I'm sure they'll be able to sort it ) Nige.
  3. I have some second hand ones with new grub screws you can have if you buy the wheels and can't find yours Nige.
  4. Good point that Will, if you get some Destroyer wheels and flip your gears round you'll then have a Monster truck Nige.
  5. The Clubracer version (No electrics, wheels/tyres or body shell) is available for
  6. I raced all last year with a Triple A HI Downforce wing on my Punisher and it's held up great. Sure it's scratched and not as shiney as it was when new, but it's still in shape and in one piece. All the Triple A stuff is designed to be durable for racing. Your gonna have a very tough time breaking one. The MCD mounting holes are different, I think, to the HPI Baja ones and prob have different overall dimensions to suit the car. Dave has been testing the prototypes. I'm sure they will be released as soon as Dave gives them the nod to Triple A. Nige.
  7. I have to be honest Triple A do make Baja wings already, I forgot to add them to the web shop . I have had them in the shop, with pictures taken since September!! I have added them to the web shop now though http://www.freeprawnracing.co.uk/petrol-parts/triple-a-racing-products/ They do 5 different designs, too. Which ones do you guys like? Nige.
  8. Bit's took a bit longer to come cos CML decided to shut shop for two weeks during the the busiest time of year and got snowed under with orders when they reopened!!!!! Bless um. Lol, you can talk about sitting on forums all day!!
  9. MCD Rally cars are awesome!! They are drifting monsters. Great fun to drive. Although I think I'd wait for the v4 one to come out if you can afford it. FG (or the carson) 2wd cars are good too, but built more for straight line speed. Best driven on a circuit in my opinion. With both though you are limited by ground clearence so you are going to be limited to running on clean tarmac. Reliability can be much better than off road cars though as they are run in much kinder conditions. The tyres last longer on the MCD too. Nige.
  10. Hiya, No, it's a totally new design. The servo savers are simular to the Smartech Titan, but that's where simularities end. It can be fitted to the Smartech Titan too, you would just need to get a FTX/Nutech Radio box Instead of the Smartech one. Below is a picture of a Smartech Titan as it seems like you haven't seen one before (lol jk)
  11. I can highly recommend the FTX Destroyer tyres for the FG Monster truck on grass and most other surfaces to be fair. The tread pattern is a little more knobbly and the compound is a little softer meaning they hook up great on most stuff you wanna drive over. They have the same wheel fitment as FG and will bolt straight on. Ask any of the Destroyer owners on here for there opinion They are more or less the same size too (I'll measure them and let you know to double check though, they might be like 10mm or so less in diameter) and are a very reasonably priced (for largescale monster truck wheels and tyres) at
  12. Ahhhh cool. Fingers crossed then you'll be able to fix it.

I'll still bring a back up for you on Sunday.

    Nige.

  13. Well, if your engine hasn't seized then you have got away with it. Although you haven't done your engine any favours at all You might be lucky and just prematurely worn it a bit. Never run your car without oil in the petrol on purpose though!! If you mess up, don't sweat it just put it down to experience Nige
  14. We have some very interesting products in the pipe line to transform the brakes on the Punisher/Destroyer. Hopefully these projects will be tested and in production very soon Some sound advice being given too. On my brakes at the moment I have a rhino 4, it's well worth fitting a large scale servo for brake duties, the smaller servos, as was mentioned, do seem to lack the holding power of the big servo's. The only thing you need to fit a big servo for throttle and brake is the brace that comes with FTX 7538 Servo Mount Set. To be honest I've found the brakes to be 'ok' as standard. But, they do take a little time to set up and the do go out of whack pretty quick and need resetting. A solution wil be found though Nige
  15. Hiya Hoss, Nige from Freeprawn Racing here. Can you add me to the list for all 3 days please, no camping. Looking forward to it Nige.
