  1. I'm not sure at the moment but will see how much it gets used over the summer and now will keep an update. It's going to be ideal when the leafs fall of the trees. Also when cutting the hedge and grass saves alot of time picking the bits up and brushing everywere.
  2. Hiya today I went to an auction with a friend for the first time today. Anyway looked around then seen a 26cc leaf grass blower, vac and shreader. It was untested but a good make McCulloch which are £170 brand new this model. The bidding was going and went to £7 just before you hammer went down I bidded to £8 and won it. I got it for £9 including vat in the end cheap enough for parts or spares if it dont work. Anyway got it home cleaned it up. Pulled the starter it had good compression a good sign. Took the spark plug out cleaned it up with a good spark showing even better. Cleaned the fuel filter and air filter out and butter fly on the carb. I then Empty the old fuel out and replaced with new fuel. Pulled the starter once and it started first time and runs like new all for £9 what a bargain for my first go in a auction! It comes complete with all the parts which is anther bonus.
  3. Hiya I've never swapped them around before. Also the smaller one for the reciever and bigger one for the transmitter. They where the correct way around at the time.
  4. Hiya, I was on holiday down devon for 12 days anyhow. I got back home so thought I'd try my nitro car rs4 evo 3 hpi. The car would switch on receiver and the fail safe. So would the transmitter light on to but wouldn't communcate with the car. Tried all sorts charging batterys and checked wires no diffrence. Anyway I took the crystals out no diffrence. So I swapped the crystal out of receiver and transmitter swapped them around it works! Then put it back it all works now! What the hell was going on here any ideas? Anybody else had a simular problem like this before?
  5. Hello I've just heard that the rc Wrexham model club is back. Just seen this message so thought I'd best post to let people know about this great news pete. Wrexham Model Car Club have got the outdoor track back at the Wrexham Industrial Estate! We have got everything in place (Electric is limited, please bring a 12V if you have one) ready to start racing on Friday 9th April @ 7pm. We will be running classes for everything battery powered that turns up! If there are not many of one class, there may be mixed classes. Please spread the word, see you there! 6. Hiya, Sounds to me like the Ansmann Racing W3 2.4GHZ 3-Channel Combo is the best one to go for. This state of the art technoloy is designed for the enthusiast. These radio systems operate on a very high frequency so the signal travels at the speed of light for a lightning fast responce. These radios are on a no fixed frequency, so when they are turned on they will automatically scan across 40 channels to find the strongest available to lock onto. The receiver and transmitter have a unique ID so that they recognise each other and a built in fail safe. Features: 3 channel 2.4GHz ISM bandLCD screen displays digital adjustments & settingsFour edit keys for setup10 model memory (0-9)Dual rate steering adjustmentDigital trimSwitch function re-assignmentSteeringwheel tension adjustmentServo reverseBuilt in failsafeLow battery alarmFull instruction manual The set is supplied with a steerwheel transmitter, micro receiver, battery box and switch http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=ShowSpecification&ItemID=33069
  7. Hello are these Receivers and transmitters 2.4ghz any good? Also do you need the servo to go with them as well? What do I need for a 2.4ghz conversion just Receiver and transmitter? It's for a nitro hpi rs4 evo 3 rtr which I'm just using a hpi receiver with 27mhz and crystal. 11. Just tried duracell rechargeable batteries both 2450mah accu and 2000mah active they work in the reciever and the car fine. So I will use 12 AA duracell 2450mah rechargeable batterys for now. To see how I get on with those for now as there working fine at the moment.
  12. Optifuel I like cause it smokes and I love the smell and the look of the smoke coming out of the car! Also I bought from modelsport UK
  13. Just tried something else which should be fine with not mixing batterys of 1.2v and 1.5v....... In the car I can put 3 batterys 2800mah 1.2v and 1 battery either 650mah, 700mah and 800mah 1.2v all reacharables then. The reciever just tried the samething I can put 7 batterys 2800mah 1.2v and 1 battery either 650mah, 700mah and 800mah 1.2v all reacharables then. Will this be fine now there all 1.2v and reachargables?
  14. Hello I've sussed this problem out now its strange but I've fixed the problem! Basicly the car takes 4 batteries 1.5v etc. Anyway tried the fujimax fujicell 2800mah 1.2v batteries all in it wont work. So did a test swapped the batterys around with the normal ones. I've worked out I can have 3 recharable batterys fitted in 1.2v with a normal 1.5v as well. The 1.5v battery has to be in a certurn place for it to work so the car now works! The reciever the same thing 7 recharable batterys fitted in 1.2v then 1 normal 1.5v fitted in a certon place the reciever works now! Looking at it the 1.5v batterys are the first ones in the circut then the rest are behind it on the car and reciever! I'm not expert but I got the things to work now.
