    BLADE MSR RTF

Sorry my bad, now sold Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Don't ask you don't get, fancy trading this for 2 nitros? Savage and Revo? Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  3. Got my 130x last week, I think you know him Danny, Chris, absolutely made up with it, totally different machine to my mCPX but I'll perseve with it and I'm sure I'll get the best out if it, especially if the weather stays like this. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  4. Took the mCPX into the garden for the first time today - awesome, totally different feeling, once or twice thought it was going over the fence but flying in a breeze really concentrates the mind. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

  7. Since I've just bought a 130x it is time to move my Blade MSR on. This is a very nimble fixed pitch flybar helicopter which is easily flow indoors. Since getting it I have replaced the blades, swash, links, frame, skids, canopy, rotor head with feathering shaft and had the power lead on the main board replaced by ixtreme-repairs off ebay. Included in the sale is a mode 2 Eflite MLP4DSM transmitter and Eflite 1-cell 3.7v 0.3a DC lipo charger (batteries in both) and one Eflite 1S3.7v 150mAh lipo. These things have known issues of 'Toilet Bowl Effect' and 'Tickle-me-Elmo's' which are characteristics of a flybar heli, but since replacing anything that spins and adjusting the servo rods I've manged to acheive a reasonable hover, although some further adjustment may be needed. There are umerous threads on boards such as MSUK, Heliaddict and Helifreak. Included are some spares, the manuals and a screw driver. I'm after
  8. That's the thing, recently got into heli's so my Savage and Revo have taken a back seat but ran the Revo last night and it was spot-on, rekindled my fire for it (steady on!!)
  9. If you sell it on the bay you might get a good price off someone who wants to start the hobby and needs everything in one hit BUT you run the risk of it being bought by some pain in the ar*e who gives you the run around. Selling on here would bring a lower price as (most) people know product and it's worth. As an example, I myself do not need another Savage but might be interested in spares to keep it running or perhaps a rolling chassis so I can put whatever power source I prefer into it. If you're in no hurry just bang it on here and see what turns up, I personally would be reluctant to sell a nitro on ebay
  10. Waiting for the postie to deliver my 130x...

  11. As other people on here have found out is that most Savages on here will not get anywhere near what they're worth, would it be easier, although more time-consuming, to break it for spares?
  12. I have to say the shell on my Revo is starting to look dated and sad, apart from finding an unpainted shell (rare) what are the shell options for this truck? I ask as there are several lumps and bumps and holes specific to this chassis I guess anything could go on if the posts were raised, right?
  13. Is this still for sale? Do you have a postcode for COD? Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  14. Tweaked the mixture a little this afternoon to richen it up, seems a lot better, will try again tomorrow. Where did I see that chart that gives settings depending on weather? Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  15. Just took my 2.5 Revo out to blow the cobwebs off, started OK, good smoke, couple of easy runs to get some heat into it then I noticed on WOT it would bog down. If I run 2/3 throttle it will rev up to maximum revs ok but will always bog. I've changed the glow plug but I'm just wondering if it is just a out-of-tune issue?
  16. I bought 4 extra batteries to go with the 2 I already had for my mCPX and I need some advice on charging all of them together. They're 250 mah and I'm not sure if the Celectra charger will have enough oomph to charge them. I do have an Overlander RC6s lipo charger so what lead would I need and where would I get one? Is this the sort of thing I need/
  17. With thanks... Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  18. Anyone have any idea of any flight clubs in North Wales, especially for heli's? Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  19. I have the MCPX v1 and on Helifreak they advice fitting canopy 'O'clock rings to the swash to avoid/remove excess play. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  20. I just got my copy of Phoenix and would be interested in joining a session, if only to pick up some tips and advice. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  21. Well got my board back today, very quick 3 day turnaround, the new lead is a lot more substantial and looks a little heavier. Just chuffed to get my MSR back in the air. Sent from my ice-cold GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  22. Bump Sent from my very cold Galaxy 2S using Tapatalk 2
  23. Well my 5 in 1 finally gave up the ghost this evening, I don't know if the battery lead has gone open circuit or if the board is fubar, but for
  24. Corb's, looked pretty healthy to me, exactly the same as it did about 6 months ago when I went in for some Savage parts, a few Blades in stock, bit pricey though but I prefer to support my LHS Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
