Hello everyone, another noob! My names Danny, had a lot of different rc gear over past 7-8 years. Just getting back into the hobby. Currently have a just a XTR 3e after getting rid of a load of old unwanted gear! Have just purchased a new truggy, X1X CRT! Cannot wait to get my grubby mits on it! Loads of great info on here, fantastic people aswel!

Like my Roto start on my XTR but don't mind pull start! Only thing with roto start is something else to charge!

I still cannot decided what i want! Looking at getting a nitro buggy or truggy to replace my feeble XTR 3e, was looking at Hypers but now decided definitely not going to buy one! So, i need some help in deciding what to go for. Looking for a hardcore basher thats as fast as the XTR but will not just fall to bits after going over toilet paper! Been looking at the Hong Nor X1X CR and CRT also the Hpi Trophy Truggy So please please help me decided, any other suggestions are also welcome Cheers Guys

Im in the same boat as you in the respect that im looking for a new buggy, not my first nitro tho Most of my nitro's have been Schumacher but they don't take enough punishment for me, want something more robust! Think im going to purchase the Hyper 7 Black Edition

Removed pull start and OWB, sanded shaft, re-fitted everything and all was good. Until my friend went to start his buggy after running a tank! Slipping again so he has ordered a new OWB! Cheers for all the help guys

I will inform him he needs to dip his hand into his pocket again I did mention a starter box to him, i will be purchasing one for my new buggy when i decide which one i want! Thanks for the help guys

Thanks for the quick response My friend removed the pullstart and OWB from the engine and there was alot of oil around so we used nitro car cleaner to soak the bearing and roller bearings and clean the rest of the engine up. Reinstalled all parts, everything fine until he ran a tank left the buggy to cool, filled the tank again and it started to slip! I have just read this from another thread Does the owb spin both ways on the starter shaft (the shaft that goes into the engine)? If yes - knackered. Im pretty sure i could spin the OWB both ways! Oh and revorocks the amount of time i have spent in the past trying to put a coil back into a pull start, will never own one again! E-start FTW!

Hello! This is my first post so please take it easy on me I did do a search for this and read the FAQ's but couldn't find anything but im sure someone could help me! My friend has a XTM T2 with the O.S vg21 p engine, sometimes the pull start doesn't crank the engine. He will pull the cord but nothing happens? Seams to be after he goes to start the engine after running a tank, would this be the one way bearing or even the fuel he is using? Thanks in advance Danny
