  1. @mixmasterjay, where abouts is that track mate? im thinking of going up sometime as i live near halfway sheffield, if its close by. have u been to bolehills up at walkley?
  2. ASF72 they look really good, do u have a link to the rims and tires also, hydro they also are what im looking for mate. thanks to everyone else that commented
  3. can u get anything similar to the hpi sand thrower tires to fit on the hyper 7? really like the look of them n would like to stick a set on my black edition
  4. is it a zenoah engine? this may come in handy if it is http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=ShowSpecification&ItemID=28049
  5. i always tie my bodyclips to the bodyshell with a bit of fishing line, strong and cheap and u dont lose any
  6. i must say i also had problems with the mt2 g3.0, had engine replaced twice, always bogging down or just not starting, even the guy at shop couldnt get it working. nothing but problems, parts were weak and seemed to break endlessly. my mate also had one, he got so fed up with it he stamped on it and destroyed it!!! so imho do not buy one. i just bought a hyper 7 black edition with starter kit and fuel for £239 and so far its been a blast, its a tough buggy, spares a plenty just incase and goes like stink. Highly highly recommended!! the hyper 7's just tried, tested and recommended i guess
  7. @RickC i have to ask, that Exhaust gas cooler does it make any difference? what advantages, disadvantages does it have??? i also like the hyper 8 battery box very slick indeed. will a hump pack fit inside it? @moorlander, let me know how u get on with the road wheels, i thought about that other day when i was bashing wiv a 1/10 thunder tiger. and then i thought, road wheels with a 1/7 porsche bodyshell would look pretty slick indeed. it would fit with a bit of modification.
  8. my bad lol, didnt realise it was hyper st mate sorry
  9. Also check the servo linkage where it attaches to the steering assembly, when the servo linkage is pushed forward the steering assembly can push against the bracket as shown in the picture. you could adjust your dual rate on tx until it no longer presses against the bracket.
  10. @ moorlander, few more pics for you. i used 18x 3mm leds for the undercar lighting all soldered to 150ohm resistors in parallel enabling 6v all drilled and glued into the side skirts, 2x 5mm white leds for front and 2x 5mm red for rear they come prewired the red and white and are all linked to the battery pack. all lights were obtained from phenoptix for about £6. UNDERNEATH FRONT REAR please excuse the sand, iv just been out bashing lol more pics here hyper 7 gallery
  11. Heres my new hyper 7 .21 black edition ready for a bit of night driving with leds but otherwise pretty stock
