Ok so on a good strip down to clean the hyper 7 and service the car Iv decided to change the diff oil.
Now striping down the diffs to clean I noticed a grub screw on the side off the diff casing, I didn't know what it was so I unscrewed it and nothing so I screwed it all the way and noticed it locked the diff!
Now my question is a good idea to lock any of the diffs?
If so which ones?
cheers guys, it does look simler,i think its got a 3.5 force engine in it! i think all im going to need to buy for it is radio gear, wheels, and a top plate, as thats snapped!
im tempted to get some new engine mounts and try the engine in my hyper
Hi guys just been given this
Any idea what is? And is there any point trying to sort it out? Needs new radio gear, top plate servos and breaks looking at!
i odered a battery from them a while ago!forgot about it and didnt turn up for 2 weeks, when i remembered i called them and they said it had been dispatched the same day, they sent another one out and arrived a 2days later, it was also a higer mah battery they sent too which was a bonus
tank lasted about 10 mins, had a few problems tunning it, and the fuel started ******* out the engine so i put it away (anyone got any head gaskets lying around?), but when it was going it did go well just need a 16 or 17 tooth clutch bell!
Haha I'm sat waiting for everyone been told I'm not aloud to use till they all turn up
The .12 that was in was giving nothing but problems and I had the mac28 sat there doing nothing so after a few days of measuring and working things it looked good to fit although very tight, I'll try post some pics later and you see what I mean!
The plan was to see if the 28 fits if it does then get the 21, the force 36 was a kind of wild idea while knowing its pointless at the same time!
Morning guys just getting ready to go play with project Betty, she's a hyper mini st, took me around 2/3 weeks to build and find certain parts but she's ready for a bash lets hope the diff hold out! Anyway here she is!
So what you think?
(yes the mac28 is going, in favor for a 3port 21 or force 36 if the hold together)
Here's my work shop had to take the wall Down just so you could see inside it's that small but it's my getaway from the wife and kids! Shelfs going up soon
