  1. nice guide are the sts engines badly sealed then? i would love to take my savvy out in the snow:P but i've ran out of glow plugs getting sum on monday tho so snow or not i will be out bashing:D
  2. thanks for that. i was a little concerned about the price because budget screams low quality to me. but after reading the reviews of this engine i am pleased enough to invest in one and even more pleased to know my pipe will work
  3. okay i'm a total noob and proud:D you gotta start sumwer.
  4. thanks for that man i live just round the corner from jespares so when my engine gives out i'll pop in:D what about the force .36 though is it not statistically more powerful than the lrp or the nossie but lower price please get back to me on this
  5. ha thanks for the suggestion but the inferno is only a small car and very light. i need an engine with a huge punch for my savage which weighs 480 million tonnes
  6. actually just to clarify the side of the piston where the skirt raises up points to which side?
  7. Okay thanks for the advice. I have had a piston explode in this engine before so when the time comes i may just buy a more powerful engine. Any suggestions?
  8. theres no visible damage to the liner and the piston still moves freely i have removed all the shrapnel from the case and the engine has been running recently.
  9. okay you guys, i know I'm an idiot and that i may have totally ruined my engine. i don't need you to tell me that, but i installed a new piston/liner in my hpi k4.6 engine, but i installed the piston the wrong way and the bottom of it has shattered. however the engine still runs amazingly i turned the the ruined piston back around and the engine works for now. my question is how long do you guys think it will survive and will i suffer any more problems because of this thanks smithy Edit****** the hole in the piston is from the bottom of the long skirt to just above the line around the base of the piston. Are these lines there for a purpose?
