Ive seen a few others the thing thats drawing me to the rustler is the waterproof electrics as my lad wants to be out in all weather, also just out of interest on my stinger brushless im just using nimh batteries not lipo will the difference in speed between the two be really noticable as the battery you get with the rustler is bigger than the one with my stinger.seen some videos of the brushed rustler and it doesnt look much slower than my stinger.

Hi all ive just found out my brushless step up stinger is being delivered tuesday thing is the battery im getting is only a cheap 2000 and after reading on here about lipos i think i need to invest in a decent battery and charger only thing is i spent more than i wanted to on the car so can anyone recommend a reasonably priced battery and charger bearing in mind the car is only for fun not racing cheers.
  13. how much would a lipo battery of that size and charger cost roughly and what run time could i expect not really for racing just messing about.
  14. yeah it was without but added battery and charger for a little extra cost the battery is actually 2000
  15. Hi all after some good advice on here just ordered the stinger brushless just wondering though it comes with pistol grip controller can i change this to a stick type controller as that what i feel more comfortable with and also what run time should i expect from it the battery in the package is only 1800.
  16. thats the one yeah but i seen it at time tunnel models at
  17. just seen this and was wondering opinions on if it looks any good? The all new monster truck from FS racing is a 4WD high powered electric racing RC truck. Not to be confused with toy radio controlled cars, these are the real deal. With a big powerful 550 motor, bevel differentials and an electric speed controller the RC truck is very powerful. Fully installed RC equipment, 7.2V battery pack with charger are all included. The truck comes fully built so all you need to do is charge the battery (10 to 12 hours with the supplied charger) do some pre-checks and then you are ready to race. The radio transmitter has interchangeable frequency crystals so trucks can be raced against each other without interference. The monster truck style with the large oversized tyres, increased ground clearance and monster bumper make this a great model for off road bashing whilst the independent suspension and differentials also means it can perform well also on road when needed. The truck is packed with features that are not normally found on standard level models. For starters the battery is a whopping 3000mAh. This means the truck will run longer at it's maximum speed and also have longer drive time between charges. The standard transmitter is an FM model, that features an LCD screen and electronic configurator for fine tuning the transmitter to your driving style. The servos, ESC and receiver have also been upgraded to match the transmitter. The truck is fully ball raced instead of the usual metal bearings which means it runs smoother and quicker. Suspension is independent on each wheel and is provided by oil filled aluminium capped shock absorbers. The model is adjustable throughout so can be setup and changed to suit the driving conditions and drivers preference. FM radio controller, 3000mAh battery pack and UK charger are all included in the price. All that is required to use is 8 normal AA batteries for the transmitter. SPECIFICATIONS: Length: 430mm Width: 330mm Height: 190mm Tyre Diameter: 120mm Gear Ratio: 10.8:1 Chassis: 2mm AL6061 Drive: 4WD Motor: RC550 Radio: Pro FM Battery pack: 7.2V 3000mAh Ni-Cd Rechargeable
