does anyone know where would be best to buy a new piston and liner for a novarossi s7 engine and approx how much they would be as im having trouble finding a place in the uk? thanks alot chris

i sheared a clutch bell pinion gear racing at the weekend on my o.s vz max v-spec engine for the first time, ive not been in the game to long and am unsure which one i need to replace it. will it be an associated part as i run an rc8 or will it be an o.s part cos of the engine? how much play does there need to be between pinion and spur gear when meshed? think mine must have been a bit to much? oh and i was running 2nd and flying in my final when it happened! cheers

Im having trouble keeping juice running my smd starter box at race meetings. what are these lipo batteries that everyone goes on about? what is the difference in them and which ones am i looking at for my starter box? cheers

how come your changing to gun tx mate? ive always been a stick man had a couple of go's with a gun but feels to alien to me couldnt imagine swapping over. each to ther own tho eh

yeh its at 125% in both directions. its as if it isnt neutralising itself properly. ive tried an old 27mhz rx and tx and it was ok its only when i change to my hitec 40mhx radio gear

im having trouble setting up a new rx/tx and throttle linkage. ive noticed that im getting much more travel in the breaking direction and only a small amount on throttle. approx 75% of throttle stick movement is unused on the servo. ive tried messing around with normal/reverse setting on tx but all this does is as it says and most servo travel is used on the break. oh and trim is 0% changing this doesnt help... im stuck, any ideas?? thanks alot

ive just modded up to a cf radio tray for my rc8 but as i took the old standard one out i was expecting the post to be able to be removed from it and use for the new cf one but they are all one moulding. does anyone know if you can buy separate posts or know of a link cos i cant find anything on the usual model shop sites?

ive been researching future servos for my buggies and have come accross a few im interested in thing is im not sure what the 4.8v and 6.0v correspond to as this obviously effects the angular rate. is it to do with number of cells in the reciever pack? ta

just unplug old one and connect new one into same channel mate. turn radio gear on to centre the servo, attach the horn and go from there. mite need a few small adjustments either on servo link or trim on tx to get the tracking spot on but is all fairly straight forward.

do you think it will still be a good car to race at club level? ill no doubt hop it up over the coming months but hopefully will do a job on the track like it is at mo? thanks for replies

ive just bought myself a good second hand ae rc8 as advertised but it has the shell and wing of the rc8b. the lad who i bought it off wasnt sure which model it was so was just wondering if there are any main visual differences between the two models so i can find out which it is or if anyone can tell by these pics? this is the bad boy....

thats a class idea mate wish i could do it n take my baby out but would need 1" tacs and a plough on the front where i am lol have fun mate

there are so many servos on the market what would you recommend for a steering servo for a decent level of club racing then? thanks for replies mate

im thinking the same now and im prob best putting money towards a better steering servo first and experiement with shocks i have on at mo. thanks for advice lads
