  1. Actually you cant live without the table and chairs because you will need a dinning size table to work on it! PyRo

  3. They sound a bit quick considering they are 4 & 5, would you say? but thanks for the suggestion. PyRo
  4. Guys and Gals, I have a few models at the momment, KM T 1000, Savage 4.6 X and a Shumacher Riot 2. What I would like is a recommendation for an electric car that the grand kids could use. they are 4&5 so nothing too extreme please, thoughts? TIA PyRo
  5. Kev, May be an idea to post what is left for clarity? PyRo
  6. Guys, Any idea where I can get some of the above for a KM T 1000 (5T clone)? Thanks PyRo

  8. I bought it after a female school teacher T Boned me on my RD 350, as a stop gap really. I hated the bloody thing, it was so light and unpredictable it would wander all over the road and if you encountered a gust of wind it was frightening. The finish on early Suzuki
  9. If you are old then so must I be, BSA Bantam 175 RD 250 B 1976 RD 350 B 1977 GT 250 X7 cant remember 1979 maybe CB 900 F GpZ 750 Turbo CBX 750 RD 350 N VF 1000 D RD 350 F1 Gauloises colours VFR 750 FJ TDR 250 FZ6 FZ 1000 F GSX 1300 R Hayabusa FZs 1000 and currently a ZZR 14000 KM T 1000 thinking about selling tbh Savage X 4.6 Riot 2 The rest of my money ive wasted on marrige, kids and grandkids :0 25:1 200ml to a gallon of oil is fine, in the old days we used to have to decoke the exhausts with hot caustic soda to clear alll the unburnt petrol oil premix. the best thing would be to do a full throttle run and shut it off as quick as you can and check the colour of the spark plug. Should be a nice tan biscuit colour. See here for examples http://www.verrill.com/moto/sellingguide/sparkplugs/plugcolorchart.htm Other than that just wipe its nose now and again. PyRo
  10. Would agree that the Kingmotor versions are quite good, I have a KM T1000, just need to get it run in only had a tank through it at the moment. busy with the savage and have yet to get the Riot 2 out of the box yet. You do need a lot of room to run them in mind, I find it somewhat intimidating at the moment. Bring on the spring, was out for an hour today and had to give up as I was blue with the cold. Started the Savvy up though which i was pleased with.
  11. Hmm gonna give the pipe shortening method a bash, thanks for the tip. PyRo
  12. I use air tool oil in mine and don
  13. Yup they do, I got my KM T 1000 off the owner, but they are rare as rocking phoo. http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=71801 See that for info PyRo

    KM T1000

Thanks for all the replies guys and a Happy New Year to you all. The motor in the T1000 is a 29cc fulie. As things stand I have just bought a Schumacher Riot 2, which I think will compliment mine and the grandson
  15. Neptar happy with the controller its a badged Futaba 2.4g set, in fact I am looking to go that route on the Savage in the future. Its just massive and tbh not what I was expecting, mind you a loverly piece of engineering. May go for a truggy at some stage to replace it, ill keep my options open, not desperate to get rid of it. Understand your comments about using foil as i wouldnt want a cold siezure. Had bikes all my life used to tune my Hayabusa, currently own a ZZR 1400 Not sure how that fits with the wus comment lol. Now thats what I call fast. PyRo

    KM T1000

Hi All, Been a member of the forum for a few weeks now and thought it about time I said hello, so hello form me and all the best for the New Year. New to the RC scene well at least until 6 weeks ago when I went and bought a KM T1000 Baja copy. What attracted me to this one or petrol at least was the ease of starting and well it's a 2 stroke, aint had one of them since 1989 a Yamaha TDR 250, current bike is a Kawasaki ZZR 1400. I realise I may have made a mistake in buying the T 1000, a magnificent beast that it is. Hmmm I on reflection should have started to learn to walk before I could try running. Have run it twice now taking it steady on a big wide piece of road but Christ its big and bleeding fast as well. Due to my nubness I even managed to roll it on to the grass bank in the process, and that's at relatively slow speed. Nothing broke just light scuffing to the body which I would spray any way. At the end of an hour I took it up to about 80% throttle and tbh its way too much for me, bloody fast with the 29cc motor, so I don't know what I will do with that one.. You need a hell of a lot of room to run it. Then santa bought me the savage PyRo

Then santa bought me the savage Much more like it I hope. I was going to try to pick up a second hand one but after scouring through fleabay I was feed up of the number of cars which were "barely run with only three or four tanks of fuel run" yet they looked like wrecks! So a bit paranoid about the initial break in method I bit the bullet and bought newJ Thanks for the advice speak to laters. PyRo
