No this was a second hand traxxas. But after I just downloaded the manuel for it. It seems as thoug this could be a glow plug issue. As the light on the Eazy starter keeps flashing on and off.

Hi guys Last weekend I brought my self a Thunder Tiger TS4N car. I was my first ever R/C car apart from those ones you get as kids (think mine was called the Highjacker lol) But since last week I have been taking apart and cleaning every single component, And I have also orderd god knows how maney spare parts for it over the week as well. And its official I have the bug now. So any way I was a bit put back by the fact that their is no onroad tracks anywhere near where I live in Gosport, But I have seen members of this forum talking about how they race on Browndown track that is about 1 miniut away from me. So wile I was ordering more parts for my TS4N car, the shop had an offroad buggy for sale. So guess what I brought it . Its a Traxxas .15 Nitro Sport (aparently) and cost me

Thx thats brill. I orderd some diff lubes the other night, as well as some shock oil. I orderd Fastrax CML Racing Pure Silicone Diff Oil (10,000 wt) Fastrax CML Racing Pure Silicone Diff Oil (4,000 wt) Cant remember what oil was for what diff now but I read somewhere that this was the right ones for the TS4N diffs. UM so yeah will have to fined that post again DOH!. Also is their a tutorial anywhere on how to oil the diffs properly. I wasnt sure about what the different shock oils did so I just picked one in the mid range and got the 25W. But looking at youre you have a much higher W. HPI Baja Shock Oil - 25W (100Cc) My engine is standerd. And when I brought the car on saterday I just said give me some fuel!. I had no idea their was different grades. But I just checked mine and it is 16% and I have seen people on here saying just use 25-30% nitro fuel. But being as you seem to be a TS4N expert, what fuel and Glow plug would you suggest. Im going to keep the same engine for a wile But later on I will spend some money and Buy the best engine I can get. Can I only use Thunder Tiger engines or will most engines fit. TT offers a engine that looks great. Well compared to mine. It is a Pro 28 DB-R engine 4.63cc 2.40BHP compare that to what I belive is a 0.60bhp engine. then that engine should be all I could possibly want for a wile. I will get on and see if I can track down some of those parts. Are the shocks easy enough to refill? Edit: I am using the shell that came with the car. It is the stander thunder tiger Viper GTS R shell. I realy want to get some more shells but the shells I like at the moment are the AE86 sprinter, and the MK escort. but they are only 195mm and aparently wont fit my car. so tracking down 200mm shells is giving me a headache. time to hit ebay I think.

Ok cool. Will I need a new set of servos to go with the Ansman. or does it not work like sorry. totaly new at this. All I know is, the current reciever I have is rubish. And I think A pistol grip would suit me alot better.

Garry. Thank you very much I will look into those tracks. R46. Are the Ally blukheads readily available. And also where did you get that carbon top plate. I have seen Carbon front and rear suspension towers, are these better than the standerds? Is their any difference in the colour of the suspension springs. i,e stiffness or are they just for looks. Also you belt tensioner is alot different, I take it yours is adjustable. What does stiffening or losening this belt do to the car? And I see your Toe settings on the rear of your car are set for high speed. I am happy with the speed of my car but it is very twitchy at speed the slightest movment will send it spinning. So shal I do the opposit to what you have and try to increase my striaght line stability. And I have no idea if mine has a two speed or not. I dont know if you will be able to tell from this pic.

Can anyone recomend the Acoms Technisport 2.4GHZ Transmitter as a decent beginner pistol grip.

Im in gosport, and am just starting out. I will be interested in this once I get all the parts I need for my car in order for me to drift. Anybody know of any on road nitro RC clubs around the gosport portsmouth area. As I dont think the block paved Gym carpark next to monkey buisness is realy a good surface for drifting

Will this work with my TS4n?

Does anyone know if this 195mm shell will fit my TS4n chassis as i would love this shell and also an AE86 sprinter shell both of witch are 195MM.

I have just brought a TS4n Viper gts R. And I am having trouble getting the parts I need for it. I want to upgrade all the suspension parts to ally parts that MSUK do have but dont have instock, and im worried that because Thunder tiger are sort of low level cars they wont bother getting in any more. I also want to get some of the 2.2mm anti roll bars to stiffen up the ride. Also I need new springs, and some decent shock oil. I have unscrewed the suspension and put it on the highest setting. and the car still bottoms out. The ally chassis is scratched to hell so it is obvious who ever had it befor me realy gave it hassle. And I would basical just like some advice on what tools I should get what accesorys I should get. and that sort of thing. Also last night I ran the car and it went realy weel did a whole tank of fuel with out a problem at all. But today sometimes at full throttle it would start to bog down and the engine would die unless I released the throttle. Is this a glow plug problem. The guy in the shop I brought it from said that when tuning the car should make a bit of smoke so its not running to lean. But I fined this hard to tell as when I go full throttle their is some blue smoke, but not sure if this is tyre smoke from wheel spinning or if the engine is tuned correctly. Sorry for the long post, but any help would be great. I have also seen a book on tuning nitro cars on MSUK, does anyone know if this book is worth the retail price. And last question (sorry guys) Is their anywhere in the Hampshire area that has a proper prepared track. So i dont have to run my car with the risk of hitting into high kerbs. Thanx guys regards clay.
