  2. Hi folks,

I've got a bunch of Tamiya hop-ups for sale.

They were bought from Japan a few years back and barely used. They are all genuine Tamiya parts, cost a small fortune and I wish I knew what all the part numbers were now, as they would probably go for a lot more..

1 - Complete set of alloy lower arms and uprights/knuckles for TT-01 (not sure if they will fit anything else..?). VGC.

  3. Hi folks,

Up for sale is my XRAY 808. Selling as I simply don't have time to use it.. :(

Good condition and perfect working order. Recently had the drive pins and many bearings replaced, along with front shock oils and pistons. Has new proline high downforce rear wing. Wheels and tires are nearly new, only used once on dirt.

Comes with lots of spares, some BNIP (see pics) and a set of on-road wheels/tires (bit scuffed up but still lots of tread).

Please note - This does need a throttle/brake linkage set, which cost ~

  4. would you sell it with one RX if so pm me your price ..

    Bil.

Sorry Bil, it's in its last few hours on ebay, with loads of watchers and a couple of bids, so I'm going to let it run its course on there with both of the RX'x.

    Cheers anyway, Lawrence.

  5. Hi folks,

These are the last set of new ones available, in the world! They were for my truck, but obviously never made it onto there...

For anyone who doesn't know SPI wheels, they're made from alloy and very strong indeed. They come with a lifetime warranty, so if you ever do bend them, you'll get them replaced (you won't bend them though!!).

This set, along with 9 others, were custom made for a bunch of us Flux owners on here especially, with 1 inch of offset and 17mm hex's.

Any standard size 1/8 MT/Maxx/Truggy tire will fit them.

    Here's some pics-

    - Alza Racing Bulkhead Brace Conversion Kit, SOLD

    - GH Alloy Steering Assembly,

  7. Hi folks,

Up for sale is a Fusion Elysium LX60B Pro charger, with dual balancing board and Deans splitter lead included, so you can charge/balance up to 2x3s batteries at the same time.

It was used once, still has protective film over the screen and buttons, all original packaging and is in perfect condition.

I'm selling up, so have no use for it...

  8. If you're going to tape the tires, get some Gorilla tape on ebay - normal gaffa tape simply won't do the job properly.. Make sure you clean the inside of the tires too, bit of soapy water and a scrub, then rinse off and let'em dry, helps the tape to stay stuck. Use 2 complete rounds of tape on the inside of each tire.

Tire choice comes down to what you're doing with the truck. For all purpose tires the stock HPI GT-2's are fine, will take a good battering on and off-road. For off-road only, I think that the HPI Dirt Claws are very good, or some Badlands http://prolineracing.com/tires/badlands-3.8-traxxas-style-bead-all-terrain-truck-tires/ (now only available with traxxas style beading, so you have to get wheels like the Desperados). The older HPI GT tires aren't bad either, and pretty cheap. If you want to go BIG then Proline Trenchers (the traxxas style ones) and again Desperado wheels http://prolineracing.com/tires/trencher-3.8-all-terrain-tires-mounted-on-desperado-black-wheels/ look good to me and people seem to like them, but they weigh loads, like all big tires, and put more strain on the truck. Fine for speeding about the place but not great for jumping.

    Hope that helps :)

  9. The one on ebay and the vid is exactly what my friend's just got, bought from the same company in the UK... Hoping he'll take me for a stomp when he's finished fitting a new cooker in the back. Apparently it's only good for about 5 MPG though, so I don't imagine we'll go too far...!

  10. A friend of mine just bought a Ural 6x6 truck, custom made for some pretty extreme expedition use a few years back, which he's planning on driving to some pretty far flung place over the next couple of years.. I wasn't quite sure what he was going on about until he sent me this vid of what's basically the same truck. It looks mental!!
