  1. It's definitely worth doing, makes steering nice and smooth, a bit easier on the servo too. Go for the cheaper bearings, the HPI's are a complete rip-off!! Or - I can send you some new ones which are metal shielded like the HPI ones for the same money as the cheap ones :thumbsup:

    Parts can be readily got from places like RCDisco, or ebay, loads of them come up secondhand and in bits. Not sure 100% on compatibility, but most bits are common. I know that they made the chassis longer on later models, so centre driveshafts may be a no-go..

  3. Hi mate it does look like your spur gear has stripped and the cause could have been the reverse module. As you said take it out and put a metal spur gear in. The only problem is if the mesh isn't correct you can strip gears.

    Dude... Check the vids out! It's nothing to do with the spur gear!
