  1. I've got a simelar problem, I have to take off the glow plug turn the car upside down and pull the pull chord as its normally flooded and gunked up. Then it wont start (I try to prime by blowing in) So I take off the air filter and put a bit of fuel into the carb directly... Then once its started it dyes if I take the Glow ingniter off. So I get about 5min fun ragging it round with out the shell on and a glow stick wobbling round on top!!!
  2. Ok, thanks. I'm back to where I was before. It seems really hard to start. I have to take the air filter off and put a drop of fuel in the carb. Then it runs ok for a minute or so before stalling, it will do this again a few times each running time getting shorter. Then after that I have to leave the Glow start inginter in or it stalls straight away? The it stops all togeather, I take out the glow plug turn it upside down and pull the P.start. Get some gunk out and start again... I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I don't think that the fuel is been pushed into the carb correctly, I've taken off the pipes blown down one end and put my finger on the other and there doesn't appear to be any holes in the pipes... Does the fuel level matter?
  3. Erm What would be the factory setting? I've kind of lost track of where I adjusted it to.... I didn't have the problem before (the car hasn't been run for a while) but when it (the problem) started, I adjust a bit (then a bit more & a bit more) Kind of gone a bit far now!!??!!
  4. Thats great thanks Sean, Manged to get it going, there wasn't enought fuel getting to the carb so took off the air filter & put a bit of fuel down there. Prob is now it only seams to work with the igniter is in. As soon as I take out The car stalls.... I assume I'm running too rich? Is it just a case of adjusting the thread near the Air filter? I have adjusted this quite a bit back & forth but it doesnt seem to work...
  5. Hi all Im sure you have 1000's of noobs coming & asking the same stupid questions, Sorry Iam about to add some more!! I have an Ansman Terrier and I can't get it started. I got it about a month ago & started running it in, on the 3rd tank I didnt make sure the pullchord had full retracted and it rest on the exhaust and burnt off, 2 weeks later I have a new one (force pull start) which I managed to fit. But now I can't get the car to fire. The chord is turning the engine over but its not starting. I have blown through the fuel in to the carb. I think it maybe the glow plug. Its lighting up but the last revolution of the coil (the tip) isnt going bright. I have 2 glow plugs and its the case on both of them.... could both be bust? is it normal for it not to be red hot right on the tip (I pressume it should be) I charger my ingniter over night so it should be fully charged. Any help would be gratefully revieved, I've had this thing for a month (birthday) and not managed to get it going yet. I cant explain how fustrating it is!!!! cheers
