I would consider a swap for a good orr road buggey for me to go bashing with.

OK, after some brain storming I'm wondering if the following may work....... Pop some CA adhesive intoo the "slack" holes, then coat the pin with a thin smear of PTFE lubricant & assemble as normal. Leave for a few hours & removes pin. The CA SHOULD not stick to the pin but SHOULD stick to the hole in the plastic & hopefully the slop in the holes will be filled by the CA
