  1. I have a young plum tree which produced abaout a dozen plums last year. This year it has only one. When I was looking at it today I noticed it had to two clusters of new blossom on one branch, That just seems so strange at this time of year. Anyone got any knowledge of fruit trees? I was thinking it might be due to the harsh winter maybe.
  2. My wife answered the phone to "You'r computer has a problem" scammers when i was on nightshift and asked them to phone back later.. They did and I was non to polite to the asian woman on the other end. I can not believe my wife fell for such a blatant scam when even my 75 year old mother sused them out straight away.
  3. Stop hogging the heat you southern gits.it's freezing up here.

      Least its warm rain. lol

  4. I think I will order them from Modelsport and give them a go. They seem to be the only 3.8" wheel out there with an offset.
  5. The Axial wheels look like they have offset, but when I emailed Axial yesterday to check, they replied saying that those wheels have zero offset. I also emailed Wheelspin models, who replied: " Unfortuantely we don't know the offset on these, and it's pretty tricky to measure accurately. We have, however, fitted plenty of these to Traxxas REVO's and they fit absolutely fine, so should work well on your Summit." So all in all the people who make and sell the product do not have a clue apparently.
  6. What kind of wheels are yor big joes mounted on? I am having trouble finding suitable wheels for my Summit as the Proline wheels my trenchers are mounted on have no offset and at extreme limits of suspension movement they clip the body.
  7. How about this? http://www.modelsport.co.uk/overlander-sport-track-hard-case-7.4v-5000mah-25c-lipo-pack/rc-car-products/39761 Much better value
  8. Giantcod.co.uk sell fairly decent lipo's at a reasonable price if you want them fast. No hard case packs though. I have a pair of their Loong Max 3s packs.
  9. Damit! biscuit tins leak when you put acetone in them.

  10. That is actually identical to the Wolf compressor for which I paid
  11. Should be fine as I run the 3000kv version on an 18 amp ESC. The gearing is so low that the motor never draws maximum amps. Only danger is if you try to gear it up for more speed. Bit poinless though as the wheely king can't go round corners without falling over. Its actually 1/12 scale and much lighter than a 1/10 truck. My 18 amp esc does not have a fan on it but the overload cutout has never kicked in even though the heat sink does get hot. I once accidentaly ran it with a 4000kv motor, as they look the same, and the thermal protection kicked in after a few minutes. The 25 amp esc should be fine with the 3300 motor going by my experience, but if you want to play it safe go for the 3000kv motor. The esc should be programmable. My tiny 18 amp ESC has the same programmable options as the Ezrun 60 amp ESC.
  12. HaHa! Brilliant. It's amazing the ideas people come up with.
  13. http://www.giantcod.co.uk/ezrun-3300kv-bushless-motor-p-403300.html This one will work well.
  14. I believe there are restrictions on canabis use in Holland. You cant just light up anywhere.
  15. Yes I have it and i am very pleased with it. I was surprised how quiet it was as it is quoted as 97db which I thought would be pretty loud, but fortunately not. It builds pressure very quickly and it's held pressure in the tank for the past week withouth droppping off. Comes with double the required amount of oil. Quality of the compressor and accessories seems pretty good. I think it is well worth the money at
  16. Do chemists sell acetone?

  17. Just spotted this on Hobbykings site. http://www.hobbyking...idProduct=17988 I think customs would want a close look at this.
  18. Not sure what you problem with Modelsport is. It is not normal to refund postage on warranty returns and they are dealing with your problem. Ebay is not a valid comparison as they impose unfair conditions on sellers to boost their profits. I know they are not perfect but they usually come good in the end.
  19. Regardless of what name you want to call it it is a tried and tested setup at a great price for a UK retailer. Don't underestimate the value of next day delivery and consumer protection. Also it comes with all connections fitted unlike the ebay versions which is a big plus for beginners.
  20. Under the data protection act can you confirm your DOB? No. Goodbye!
