Just trying to grab your attention. Basically I may be able to get a product made to convert your SCX10 into a mud truck (similiar to the Rc bros conversion) and in the future maybe other trucks aswell, would anyone be interested in this?? It is side plates to increase the height of your chassis rails but keep your skid plate mounted low down, so no crazy drive shaft angles, and you can run upto 110mm shocks without having to worry about binding issues, if you could leave your feed back below I would much appreciate it. Ok forgot to mention, there is a company in America called Rc bros, that sale the burly mud truck conversion, which is the one you see in the pics below, I have shown this just to give you an idea of what it is going to do, I have an Rcbros conversion and it is a very nice piece of kit, however at the cost of £58 shipped, it is a little steep, so I am trying to get something similiar in the UK the price is yet TBC however, please carry on and leave feedback. thanks Brad again the image used below is the RC bros burly mud truck conversion, not the Product I have in the pipeline.

So then, the velineon is in the mini 8 truggy, and now I want a new esc one with a program card etc, anyone recommend anything fancy?

No run vids, I'm not much of a technical dude lol, I.e I don't know how to upload them haha, oh exciting stuff Ewan, I'm looking at a new esc are you running an sc8? I think you will be impressed with the velineon on 380 literally just dropped it on mate no messing honestly, so easy, the spur gear and pinion conversion was easy aswell, overall well impressed with the conversion, let me know how you get on with the leopard!! I'm sure that will be insane!!

I've tested it, running on 2s lipo 2000mah 55t traxxas spur and 16t traxxas pinion, it all seems to work ok, I had to tighten the slipper action, and also I think that if you want it for bashing 2s is plenty I couldn't get it to stay in a straight line with the AVC off turned on though the truggy was a beast, I'm just imagining what 3s would be like haha, I don't have a thermometer so had to just check by touch and it was warm after running flat out also the esc felt the same so no dramas there, I had a slight high pitch squeal after 10 mins of running but I think that the slipper was slightly loose, on doing the traxxas conversion there doesn't seem to be a place for the 4mm bar that you slide through it and the original one sits on it so if anyone knows what to do here please tell means 1 last thing I'm know looking at a new esc to run with this, any recommendations?? If any one wants to do this conversion feel free to ask I will help as much as I can.. Thanks for all your help geezers.....

Wahoo it's all sorted just slipped a 2s lipo in ready for a run outside, breakfast and a shower for me then playtime, hopefully nothing breaks, wish me luck!!

Well the spur conversion has happend fine, and the motor dropped right in, mayb a little tight at the bottom but no grinding required, I'm running a 55t spur and 16t pinion both traxxas e revo, I haven't tested fully yet, I have one question though when I get to full throttle my esc the light turns red, is this correct it's not cutting out or anything I'm just wondering if this Is right? Also the wiring of the motor traxxas has a white yellow and a blue, and fuze has red black and white I'm pretty sure I've set it right but just confirm anyone if they know more about this! Thanks already

oh that's kool I'm sure I can do that or maybe even put a washer on each screw on the motor mount to give it a bit more clearance, just an idea would it work lol?? and I tell you what, your a great bunch thanks for your help!!

Yes I don't really understand that Ewan, I have got all the bits to convert to traxxas E revo 1/16 gearing, I'm just questioning now the standard traxxas 16t pinion and standard traxxas 55t spur should work hand in hand along with the velineon motor, please tell me I'm right lol!!

oh cool well 16t is my smallest from traxxas and also got an 18t aswell so should be ok or maybe a tiny mod, I can deal with that.... what kept breaking Neil, I hope I don't get that many problems did you race yours or anything?? Ewan if I get mine done this weekend I'll let you know how I get on, I've never really fiddled with stuff like this, but I can work on motorbikes so I don't mind the challenge LOL..........

Hi all, I've been in and out of the hobby for years well since I was 13 infact, So I've posted in this one because I also have a Losi mini8 T, I've read alot of the posts on them and decided to buy a velineon 380 to put in there, I know there are loads of different build guides online to help so it should be fun, would of been even more fun if I could of started it this weekend LOL...... but due to a real car breakdown I didn't manage to get it sorted, hopefully next week!! So anyway just curious because I have searched, can I use the standard 14t pinion and 62 tooth spur straight on the velineon or not?? Im not looking for speed runs just something for bashing at the local bmx track, also I have picked up all the parts from traxxas to do the conversion, I have a 55 tooth spur and a 50 tooth spur coming and lots of pinions from traxxas aswell I think I went 26 tooth all the way down to 16 tooth and I don't want to mod the motor mount, part of me is wishing I just bought the LC emb-1 as you can chuck a lipo in and run it straight out the box, oh well you live and learn Any advice will be greatly appreciated and I will try to keep you updated how its going...... My next purchase is a Hpi micro rs4 for a bit of office drifting haha!!

ive installed all my new parts now, rpm arms, traxxas cvds and rpm shock towers. i think all i need to upgrade now is shocks but not sure wot to get?? traxxas center propshaft. rpm skid plates bulkheads again not sure wot 1's to get?? and last but not least castle mmm and i should be doin crazy speeds anyway wit the rpm towers and arms they have a lower ride height which i didnt notice at 1st but the handlin is megga!!!

i have 3905 16.8v emaxx, but iavent got a good enough charger for lipo and to be honest im pretty new to rc so goin lipo and balancing and all that frys my brain im a bit solid when it comes to stuff like that lol. ty

hi all woz out with the emaxx today and 1 of the batts decided that it wuld go pop lol, anyways i need to get 2 new batts and dont knw wot to go for im running 3800mah modelsports that i got with the truck and want to know if i get a higher mah ratin does this mean more speed or power or runtimes?? any help wuld be much appreciated thanks brad

yo all can n e 1 help me setup my angles plz?? ive jus fitted all my rpm arms and new drive shafts and that so im happy thats done, now i gotta set my angles again i need a simple way lol coz im solid when it comes to numbers and angles n stuff so a foolproof way wuldnt go amiss!! ty all

thanks ive donne it now. another couple questions tho, when u srew the carrier bak on to the arms how tight does it need to be?? and seeting camber angles can ne 1 give me tip of how 2 do it?? ty again all

hi all jus got traxxas cvds, rpm towers and rpm arms. the traxxas cvds r doin my head in ther comin thru the hub but ther about a millimeter from bein able to put the pin in any advice 4 that?? and i fitted the rpm shock towers but not the arms as it looks like u need thinner screw for the shock tower to screw in at the bottom?? any help wuld be grateful thanks brad

ive jus seen a set of the TA shocks on the bay that said they wer 4 emaxx and tmaxx so the 1 modelsport duz i think are the same 1's?? snoop av u gt a link for hypershocks?? thanks again all
